Remarks

College doesn't support any extra curricular activities you will have to struggle a lot if you are seeking your carrier beyond academics there people don't like to step with todays world they train students for better job not to become a better engineer.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course curriculum is worst in this university as it was lastly updated on 2012 students are debarred from the current market scenario hence lacking skills and techniques required to hack the jobs present.

Placement Experience

2.5

Placement is here is good as they have good way to train the limited students who already are focused to get jobs as they work on their skills after college hours and there is no internship opportunity here

College Events

0.5

There are numerous events organised namely leganza, tech fest, E-week (for entrepreneurs), kasar (cultural event) it's quite difficult to seek the managements permission but students some how manage to get it and they organise these to keep the culture of the college on a go.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It's approximately 50,000 per semester it differs from different branch of studies that a student opts for. It's feasible compared to other engineering institutions in the whole course curriculum the student spends approximately 485000 of college fee

Fees and Financial Aid

No scholarship/loan facility is provided by the college though the university provides a TFW quota (tution fee waiver) which allows a student to become engineering graduate in only 32000 INR which is very good and college also approves other govt/private scholar to fund for students.

Campus Life

4.5

Gender ratio is poor boys are comparatively much in number than girls No students parties/fest are organised so smoothly to organise a few we have to fight with the management go for several strike then we get that permission.

Hostel Facilities

1.5

The college infrastructure is quite good as compared to the other institutions in an around the city it has partially equipped labs and class no smart classes available 2 well maintained labs are there where the students are send to be job ready or which helps to groom them

Alumni/Alumna

No not at all as the management/authority are least concerned for such activities they pay least importance to have a alumni meet either. People with a immature mind entering the college seek guidance on every path which is lacking here as no one is up there to take the pledge

Admission

I was admitted via wbjee i.e. west bengal joint entrance examination We had to face the exam and on basis of our marks obtained we were categorised in ranks and on basis of ranks colleges are distinguished and students with top ranks are admitted to top colleges and so on

Faculty

2.5

Faculty are quite good and enrich with knowledge or rather say they ae accustomed to the syllabus as it doesn't change years & years so they gain a good practice/command over the subject and hence become experts.

Placement Experience:

Well as far as mh knowledge students get to placements from 6th semester itself . Well there are placement classes from 3rd semester itself . The placement track record of the college is quite good with most year about 90% gets placed with good companies comming like Deloitte, EY GDS , JP MORGAN, Oracle , offering high amount of placement offers like around 20+ lpa . Well I am not sure about my plans maybe if the palacement is good I'll take it or will be preparing for GATE (Whose courses are also provided from college .)

Placement Experience:

The senario of placement in all of the private colleges of West Bengal are more or less the same. Majority of the students are placed in Service Based Companies like TCS, Wirpo, Infosys, HCL, Accenture, Cognizent, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, etc. These companies offer anywhere from 3.6 to 6 lpa packages. Only a handful of Product based companies come in these private colleges and cherry pick 2-3 student per college only. This is the reality of all the private colleges, not just our college. If you want to crack a high paying job, you will have to do it off campus. The students are eligible for internships from the 6th semester itself. The college does try to provide internship to students but only a few students end up getting the internships and most students need to find internships on their own. Some companies which came in 24-25 session which offered an internship and PPO are Amazon, SAP Labs, Accenture, etc. For a detailed placement stat, go to our college's website and look for training and placement stats. The college is honest in putting these stats. The stats are mostly reliable. The highest off campus placement in 24-25 session was by Snehadeep De, who secured a SDE role in Amazon with 47 lpa CTC. This was off campus so the college had no role to play here. The highest on campus placement was by two students in the company Juspay. They were offered the SDE role for 27 lpa CTC. The average placement of all the CS branches will be around 5-6 lpa. And approximately around 60-65% of the students get placed. This is the ground reality. And its the same in all of the WB private colleges. If you want to keep a backup option in case you don't want to get a 3.6 lpa job then start preparing for GATE, CAT or Civil Services from your second year. Its always preferred to have a backup option cause you can't trust a private college for providing you jobs.

The minimum placement opportunities of our college is good . If you are in good in aptitude, Group discussions and your CV and technical skills are strong then you can easily crack a 7-10lpa job from our college. Overall our college provides decent opportunities for our placements but you need to maintain certain GPA to sit on those placements

After the 6th semester we are eligible for the internship, also we can apply for both on campus and off campus placements. In our college some companies like Geotech, Infosys, Code Clouds, Unibit solutions visit every year. Average package is in the range of 3.5-5 Lakhs per annum and highest package is nearly 6-7Lpa. But post covid time our placement record decreased a bit. Nearly about 80-85% of CSE students get placed every year. Also I am currently appearing in interview of different companies for placement.
