Remarks

The college has now been deaffiliated with the University. It used to be best college at one point of time for BALLB. The campus life is amazing.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Course curriculum is according to the needs of legal industry at present. The syllabus was revised in 2014 for this course and thereafter the syllabus was updated with current legal industry requirements. The college helps in getting placements to several students. The college does not organise industrial visits. Exam structure includes 25 marks for internals and 75 marks external examination.

Placement Experience

3

The campus placement for this college is average. several recruiters visit the campus every year and selected students are provided job in those firms. E&Y, Karanjawala & Co., Singh and associates, Tech Mahindra, Bharti Axa life insurance. These are several companies which visit our campus for their recruitment drive. Then there is a special placement fair titled "AMITY CAREER EXPO" - a one day placement event in which a number of law firms visit to hire students. This Expo is conducted every year in second week of February.

College Events

5

Amity Youth Fest- a 3 day event-inclusive of technical, management and cultural events. National moot Court Competition- a fest oriented only for law students across the country. The events witness footfall of around 5000-6000 students and there are number of sponsors for the event.

Fee Structure And Facilities

There is full transparency in fee breakdown. The course fees of BA LLB is INR76,200/- per year. The fees need to be paid through demand draft only. The college requires the student to re-register every academic year, whereby the students need to deposit the fees through Demand Draft.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no such scholarship available for students through the college. However there are Delhi Government schemes which the student can avail for scholarship but they are limited to the Delhi domiciled students only.

Campus Life

5

The campus life is awesome at Amity. The infrastructure of Amity is one of the best in the country. There are plenty of canteens in the campus including Domino's, CCD, Nirulas, Subway. Gender ratio is almost 50-50. The children of almost 1% top politicians, bureaucrats and businessman study here. There are people of every religion and from everywhere around the country.

Alumni/Alumna

The college do not have a great alumni network. However the seniors are available to help the students whenever the juniors need help.

Admission

Amity Law school was one of the best law colleges in Delhi NCR in 2015 when I got through the merit list of this college. The admission to this college is based on CLAT rank now. In 2015 there used to be IP University CET entrance exam for admission to this college. 85% of seats are reserved for DElhi Domiciled students. The college has now been deaffiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. The Clat exam is conducted in first week of May. Then the student need to participate in University online counselling.

Faculty

4

Faculty is the best part about this college. There are 2-3 professors and then assistant professors and several associate professors. All faculties' age ranges between 26-40 except the professors who are a bit elder than other faculty members. The faculties are mostly allotted the subjects in which they have expertise.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There were around 20 to 25 speakers in my course. Because of an enormous number of understudies in a solitary course, we were partitioned in various segments and each segment has distinctive instructors for a similar subject ( few were normal). The majority of the teachers are matured between 50 to 60 who are probably going to get retirement however they have the main part of information and experience since they are profoundly qualified. Also, not many speakers have recently added researchers of the organization who don't have that much insight yet discovered new and simpler strategies of learning and instructing.
