Comparitively good when compared to other existing maritime institutions and College, since we have the best masters to guide us through our course for three years. The negative aspect is that the seniors treat us like juniors onboard a ship it would be literally like army camps where you obey orders from seniors.

100% job oriented professional curriculum. Main subjects would be navigation ship operation safety and stability. Its chill for those who love it. There is parade and PT every morning. Very strict rules and regulations are implemented by our seniors.

Well now that the shipping industry is in a bad shape we get only 50% to 60% placements. Companies like maersk, torm, goodwood,shell, chevron and many more have recruited us. We get placement opportunities even after graduation.

There are various events celebrated in our College like College culturals and festivals like deepavali pongal and holi. Events like navinautics are specialised events only for nautical cadets, cadets from various renown institutions are invited to this event.

Since it is a private institution fee structure is expensive compared to INDIAN MARITIME UNIVERSITY. Our annul fee is around 3.75 lakh and for three years around 11 lakh and the same course in IMU is around 6 lakh for 3 year literally only 50% of our institution fee.

Fishermen get scholarship from government and other students can apply for a bank loan. Fisher men get 25000 when studying and after graduation we get 25000 from the government. Scholarship to be applied personally in local fisheries office.

We have all kind of sports activities and swimming is mandatory among all we also have tests on our swimming abilities. Labs we seamanship lab and physics lab which is in our curriculum. Our College do have other labs which are not related to our course.

This is a residential course hostel is compulsory. Because we have pt and parade all admitted students get an in campus or off campus hostel. Usually 4 cadets share a room and hostel facilities are quite good except a few rooms which r very uncomfortable.

I have no idea because i have not yet registered as an alumni. But our College has as alumbi association and they do host events and parties. After graduation we get formally invited to attend an alumni meeting.

My love towards sea made me choose this career, and AMET is one of the leading maritime College. You need min 60% in english maths and science to be eligible to apply and medicals. There is an entrance exam and a personal interview in the process of admission.

We were trained by masters. And asias youngest captain capt. Yeswanth raj is our faculty member. Our masters treat and train us like cadets to get the best out of us. The masters who train us have a vast sea going experience and expertise,undeniably they are the best.
