Remarks

The faculty is less concerned about the students Mental health, number of assignments and exams per day is more than you expect, the bus fee is not at all feasible as it cost a lot when compared with College sem fee

Course Curriculum Overview

The course Curriculum is actually rough and tough from my point of view as the College under Kerala Technical University, which was formed just 3-5 years before. The exam structure is so tight that you get very limited days for study leave and also not enough practical knowledge is given to students.

Placement Experience

The placements and Job opportunity in College is Vivid and those students from computer science are those who gets placed most and 89% placement companies are from IT sector, Core companies coming to College is less. Our College doesn't provide internship, but we could do internship from outside of College in companies and all.

College Events

Most festivals are celebrated like Onam, Christmas and all.There are some cultural fest and technical days like arts day, College days, union day and tech fest days where both students and faculty rejoice.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is actually feasible, that is a student who has merit need only to pay 1/4 th of the fee. You could also avail for loans from bank with low interest, there are also scholarship for students who are randomly selected

There is student scholarship which is given to students who come under merit seats where their fees is reduced well below and there is management scholarship where some students are randomly selected and given this scholarship

Campus Life

There is no Gender ratios and all, every one is equal to the College, no dorm parties are allowed, many branches conduct Workshops and that too frequently, there are groups like NSS and all, no politics is tolerated in our College

Hostel Facilities

Just okay, that's all. During your 1st years the hostel rooms, food would be neat at clean and also big but as you go up i gets less clean and all, the food is good at the hostel and the faculty there is very strict too

External Expense: Rs.10000 - Rs.15000

Alumni/Alumna

Yes indeed the seniors are helpfull as they help the youngsters guide, the alumnis come to College ever year for a get together with the faculty. The seniors are very helpful in taking on with our final year project

Admission

I got admission for my College via Kerala entrance exam for engineers which is mandatory for joining in Engineering College in Kerala. With enough rank i got into my College, i got the branch which i liked that is electrical and electronics engineering. The College is soon to become Autonomous.

Faculty

The faculty of the College is best in class and they have enough knowledge too, but the university's tight schedule gives strain on both students and teachers. My branch faculty is strict as well as gives less freedom for students

Life at CET

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of the college is very active. You can get internships starting 2nd year and placements starting 3rd year. About 75% of people get placed. Many MNCs like Texas Instruments are consistent hirers. The highest package of 2025 for my course is 1 crpa. The average is about 7 lpa. A student can get 5,6 offers. I plan on higher studies abroad because I want to learn more in-depth about the course.

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.

As my college doesn't promote any festivals or celebrations its top most priority is to provide quality education to their students. Good Campus and enjoyed the time in there.

We had a common exam for the admissions. And the rank in the exam determines which college we get to study. I was trying to get into the government college. But didn't had enough rank to get the set. Actually when I was writing my boards I paid 10000 and they asked me to block myself a seat. They kept two conditions two score above 85 percentage in 12th and keam should be qualified.i happened to get both so after that I went back to college they gave me a check list of documents to bring for registration. I bought those they registered me in.
