College with good values

I choose this college because it is a teir 1 college with excellent ranking and their placement percentage, although is was also checking for other colleges I compared their placement percentage, ranking and students development program but they were not that good as compare to PCCOE. I don't get rejected by any college because I never applied for other colleges PCCOE was my only choice and I got selected in 1st round only. I came to PCCOE because it offered me the best balance. Most students come to the college through the MHT-CET. There is a 10% bracket open for JEE students as well but I personally came from MHT-CET. In MHTCET, cutoffs can go as high as 99 percentile for CS/IT branches. For my branch, cutoff was 97 and it has increased since. I chose this place becasue it provided a good balance for my working environment. There is also a certain percentage alloted to management students costing anywhere from 10 lakhs to 50 Lakhs depending on the branch for which admission is required. I applied to COEP, PICT, VIT, PCCOE, MMCOE, VIIT, PVG, etc. COEP and PICT were not in my books as my score was too low. I'm glad I didn't get VIT because they merged with VIIT last year and that caused both their average placement as well as average everything to go down. I chose this college because i was getting IT branch here. It is very near to my home than all colleges i applied for. It is disciplied have uniform . I was getting entc in cummins and pict but then i was compromising with branch and also its very far so travelling would have become very hectic. I didnt get IT in cummins and pict as its cutoff was a bit high than what i have. I have scored 97.88%ile in MHT CET . Admission to my college takes place through mht cet centralized portal based on merit. Eligiblity is cet or jee appeared. Exams -Mht cet and JEE. I also applied to VIT vellore and VIT Bhopal, but VIT vellore was out of budget and Bhopal was very new with not too good reputation. I chose PCCOE over them as being a maharastrian I anyways wanted to live in pune or mumbai for college. No i did not get rejected from those I applied. I chose this college over other colleges because this is the 3rd best college of our city and also its location is very near my house so it's easy to travel to college daily. Yes, I had applied for various top colleges across Maharashtra such as COEP, VJTI, Walchand, PICT but I was not able to get my desired engineering branch in those colleges therefore, I chose this college, and I think it is the best college that i got according to my CET score.
