Review about my College

Have to improve facilities for the students from academic wise by giving them better laboratory. The environment of the College is green and spacious. Infrastructures should also be improved in order to meet the need of the students.

Talking about the course,it is one of the lesser explored domain where lot of oppurtunites are there. The course comprises of 4 years and includes 8 semester examination. Each semester will have about 6 theory paper and 2 to 3 laboratory paper and the last semester that is 8th semester students have to do a Research project on their field of interest. Based on the credits they gain in different papers will reflect on the GPA.

In our department it is essential to go to internship right from our second year of degree program. department faculties help us to bring food industries which provide better intership program. Industries mainly Parle Agro, Hatsun , crust and crumb, Numax foods etc. My Internship in Parle Agro was about 2months and I was provided with 9 thousand per month and they also took care of my food and accommodation during the entire intership program.

Each and every department conduct various technical and cultural events.they will be grand and vibrant. various College students will be invited to participate in the event. Chief guest from various sectors including scientists, police department, sports , politics, business person, entrepreneurs will be invited.our College conducts a special function named "VELAN THIRUVIZHA" during the month of January just before the pongal festival. Its is mainly to motivate the agricultural and its related field and farmers. various traditional dances, desi cow and native dog and other pet shows will also be a part in that function

There are two types of fees structure and both of them are feasible.the first one is General quota which is for the students through Anna University councelling and the second one is management quota for the students who have directly enrolled themself in College. For 1year Tuition fees- 40,000 - 60,000( various on quota) Lab fees, book fees and uniform fees - 10,000

I am getting scholarship which is provided by the Educational Department of state government through my College. Our College help us to get this scholarship. Our College also reduces the tuition fees if the student is a first graduate from his/her family ( only if proper government certificate is provided)

Various fields like sports, dance, music, tamil mandram, malayam mandram , eco-club were present in our College. Students who were in those clubs will conduct different events and programs. Both boys and girls were provided equal opportunities based on their interest and skill in that particular area

In our department we are the first batch and currently we are in our final year. But alumni students from other departments helps us to know about the current employment status and they also share their experiences in IT sectors and other marketing fields where they get placed.

I enrolled myself in Anna university councelling. Under this, the Colleges which are afflicted to Anna University will be present. Students who opted for councelling will be ranked based on their own marks. Rank list will be published and dates will be provided for the session. I chose this College because if my interest in a specific branch named food technology and that time only a few Colleges were providing that course and this College is one among them and it was near to my hometown. That made me to choose this College.

Most of out faculties are of good experience and from various part of India. They provide us good knowledge and help us to use our skill in our filed of interest. They also motivate and guide the students to think innovative and make their wish come true.most of them are Phd scholars
