I chose this course because I am specifically interested in Computer Science. There are well trained faculty sufficient enough to address all the students. Faculty have finished either ME or PHD in their respective fields. Examinations make sure to test students capacity and they are moderately easy.

There are a lot of companies like the Brilio, Trilio, TCS etc who often visit our college to have an interactive session with the students . Recently a company called the Webnotics Solutions hired a lot of students considering the projects they did using latest technologies like Flutter so projects can play a crucial role in placements. Also, another team got placed for 14lakhs per annum for a project that they did in Metaverse. Projects using newer technologies are more in demand and can help students get internships and jobs with a higher pay in our college.

For students alloted through government quota, it is 1.2 lakhs per annum. If the cut off is above 195, you will be exempted from paying any fees except the bus and hostel fees which depends upon your route and the kind of room you have chosen. As of now its 80000 for hostel without AC and with AC is above 1 lakh. First graduates, SC/ST and BC students also get scholarships and to maintain them is in the hands of the students by scoring a decent cgpa without arrears in Semester examinations. For Management quota it is 2 lakhs per annum and there is no scholarship for management students in any form.

There are a lot of events conducted by the students which include a lot of technical activities. The Velan thiruvila during Pongal is one of the biggest annual fests which represent Tamil tradition and also to respect our traditional agricultural practices. There are a lot of books if you look at it in a technical aspect. Each department section has a lot of books of various authors. Classrooms have smart boards and projectors. Sports is also given a decent amount of importance and is always encouraged. There are various Clubs for native languages, for departments , for sports , dance and music. Also the Rotarat club where they work for the welfare of the society.

Eligibility of different courses is based on the cut off that you scored which again depends on the category that you belong to. Students who are first graduates and who belong to certain categories and have scored well in their 12th will be given scholarships. Scholarships will be maintained only if they maintain a decent cgpa with no arrears in semester examinations.
