Remarks

Positive Good college with good and infrastructure, and placement. college has a lot of extra curricular activities. A politically active campus, where the students have the right and freedom to protest and do whatever they want. Out of 6, 4 courses are NBA accredited. Negative Lack of area, no playground, poor sports facilities.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The curriculum is good. It is prepared by APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, Kerala. The course focuses more on practical knowledge. The course is a semester based credit system in which the student has to obtain minimum credit for studying in next semester. The exam and lab days are not so heavy.

Placement Experience

4.5

Our college has a good career guidance cell which offers more placement opportunities than most other colleges in city. 90% of the companies are IT based and only a few are core companies. The major recruiters are infosys, tcs, tata elxsi, Ibm, Wipro,.

College Events

4.5

The major events are cultural fest Cult - A Way and techical fest Advent. It is conducted in the even semester. Cult a way has an annual budget of about 30 lakhs and is one of the top college fest in kerala. Advent focuses more on technical events.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is feasible. There are 3 types of seats Merit seat- fee 35, 000 Management seat- fee 65, 000 NRI seat - 1, 00, 000 Excluding this a university fee of about 6, 000 is also included in the fee structure.

Campus Life

2.5

Extra curricular activities include sports meet, arts festival, freshers day and various celebrations such as onam, Christmas, holi. The campus is politically active, various political parties conduct different programs.

Hostel Facilities

2

The college doesn't have any hostel facility, but there are plenty of private hostels and PG nearby which provides neat accommodation. The hostal fee will be about 50, 000 per year( avg). The college has a college approved girls hostel which is neaby to college.

Alumni/Alumna

Aluminis have good network with college. There is an alumini association in the college which conducts reunions and different programs for aluminis. The alumnis also contribute to cultural fest Cult -a - Way.

Admission

The admissions to merit and management seats is through kerala entrance exam conducted by government of kerala. The admissions to NRI seat is through entrance exam conducted by college management. I got admission in merit set through entrance examination. I choose this stream as i am more interested in Mechanical and automobile engineering.

Faculty

3.5

Faculty of the college is pretty good, and has a good knowledge on subjects. The way of teaching is also good. Most faculty has a Doctoral degree in that subject. The faculties are friendly to the students and doesn't show any odd behavior.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is the worst. Teachers rush through the portions so that they can finish at the earliest. It may be because the university has a unjustifiable timetable. There is very little practicals given. The ones that are given are just for namesake.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is under KTU syllubus do it's fine. There is a change in curriculum coming 2024 which i assume would make a lot of good changes. The curriculum gives you a head start For most of your work, you need to on your own but the faculty is there to help. The frequency of exams is weekly tests + monthly exams. Its not too difficult of an exam.

Placement Experience:

The students usually start appearing for campus placements in their 6th semester. The training for the campus placements is started for all the students from the 4th semester. Many companies visited for campus placements. But one main problem is that most of them were low packages. Around 4LPA. Some were between 4-6 and a very few between 6-10. Most of them got placed in our batch in some company.
