Scored 99.58 percentile in CAT and after that a GD and a PI. Got converts from many B-schools of repute but chose DMS for its curriculum, faculty, location and ROI.

Both the curriculum and the faculty are of top-notch quality. DMS, IIT Delhi has world class faculty all over but especially in Finance and Operations domains. The curriculum is revised to keep it up-to date and course feedback is taken both during the term and at the end of the term. Each course has a necessary for term paper submission which emphasizes the research based pedagogy followed in DMS.

Internships are an integral part of MBA and DMS, IIT Delhi has a USP of providing 2 internship opportunities to students unlike other B-schools which have just 1 such window. The general stipend is comparable to top 15 B-schools in India and is increasing at a rapid rate Y-o-Y. Many lucrative profiles from top firms are offered and DMS provided paid internships to 100% of the batch.

More than 30% of the batch got PPOs and PPIs last year, and many had multiple offers after the final placements while each student had at least one offer. Companies such as GE, Marico, Deloitte, RBS, JSPL, Amazon, Flipkart were some of the recruiters with the average package being again comparable to top 15 B-schools in India.

Parivartan is the annual management fest of DMS IIT Delhi which receives huge particiaption from all the premier B-schools in India. Numerous events covering all the domains are organised which are fiercely contested among the students. Interestingly EDC organizes a competetion where start ups can raise funding, and this event gets participation from people of all age and qualification.

The fee structure of DMS IIT Delhi is its lesser known USP. At just Rs. 4 lakhs for the whole of 2 years and nominal boarding and lodging charges, the fees is 1/3rd of what other similar colleges charge. The sweetener comes in the form of a laptop and a week long foreign exchange program that is covered in the fees, effectively reducing the fees to Rs. 3 lakhs. ROI turns out to be among the best in India. Hostel facilities are good while the mess food of any college is better not to be commented upon.

Getting a loan from the on campus banks is easy, and they cover every expense.

The gender ratio is not artificially jacked up by giving extra points on gender during admissions. We enjoy all the great sports facilities available in IIT Delhi such as swimming, football, cricket, squash, badminton, basketball,etc. We have clubs of almost all the domains that are active and keep the students engaged.

Alumni have always been very helpful. In all the companies that we interned at and had an alumni present there, they were always available to help and guide us. Same goes for the seniors who guided us through our junior year. Alumni keep returning for formal and informal sessions to guide us and be better prepared for the upcoming challenges.
