I don't see any bad thing about it rather I can tell you numerous good things here this is a great institute to be associated with i am lucky to have this as my alma mater it is just a wonderful campus on the bottom of a hill you can feel like the nature

I took GATE 2007, i secured 96.8 percentile i opted this Institute as this institute provides an extra ordinary education on Information Security specialisation in CS & IT.

It was bit tough to put your thought process for grasping we were having 4 semesters from which 2 were course work and 2 for thesis on a trending technology.

Internship would be a great plan to know our faculties and their talents, students and campus internship are being offers to work or assist on some government funded projects on my opinion, Internship is a great chance how much they are paying now as stipend to students I don't know but when I was here i was getting 8000 rupees monthly. I heard now it is increased.

Wow placement is fabulous here they have divided companies in 3 categories on the basis of salary being offere ordinary, dream and super dream if you qualify ordinary, then you will also be allowed to sit ion the other two, but not on any other ordinary similarly if you get a job in dream company, then you will be allowed to sit for super dream but the other way around is not allowed a dream company grabber wont be allowed to ordinary. Every year we get almost all students placed at some organisation so no worries for placements, its all cool.

When I was there, we had 2 events per year first one is confluence and the other one is NITRUtsav confluence is a tech fest and theme is technology students from other universities or institutes participate in various technology events the other event is mainly spring fest or cultural fest there we do have all events related to art and culture. Along with the above 2, we celebrate a Hall Day for each hostel where you do live, you would be invited for that hall's hall day celebration they just throw an awesome evening with music, dance and foods to all residents of the hall.

Fee structure is good enough for admission you must be aware now a days, private colleges have a ridiculous fee structures in comparison to that, in this central govt institute, you wouldn't feel that much disappointed when you get out of it after your course fees are reasonable and as per govt norm.

Honestly I never availed any so not much knowledge about it you can check with asst registrar admissions to clarify on this.

Campus life is awesome when you enter into the campus, you would fall in love with the loneliness of it the best time for the campus is winter the campus would be photogenic at that time we have gymnasium, a big cricket/football stadium, music & cultural society, swimming pool, etc. We always have annual sports every year without miss some indoor and some outdoor activities would be listed for the competition labs are 24x7 open for students to work on along with that you can join any club you want. There are numerous clubs in campus, you would get those details of the clubs when you would be joining the institute.

After 90s, this institute has enhanced and expanded it's campus all day scholars are needed to be in hostel hostels are clean and hygienic to stay previously students were sharing rooms but now each student will have his/her own room to stay food is just

Alumni network is very strong here NITRAA NITR alumni Association keeps everyone updated with every news about the institute we help alumnus as and when needed with the help of this association if there would be any homecoming or gathering of any batch, this association will make you aware of it.

Exam structure is nice one we do have 2 exams per semester mid Term and Final Term few faculties take both mid term and final term into consideration for publishing the final semester grades and some just take final term for everything its something like

Faculties are talented enough to teach you the course around the globe especially young faculties are having most challenging brains to get acquainted with they never quit upon students they make them understand by a ground level.
