College Review

Course Curriculum is not so well structured. We are getting too much of load and work to do.I have 5 labs and 1 tutorial in the noon. And also lectures in the morning. Exams are very frequent. We are giving two in-sem Exams and 1 end'sem exams in one semester.

The fact is , DAIICT is too good for placements in Gujrat. Many companies are coming in our campus like Sprinklr, Amazon, Morgan Stanley, etc. Toral more than 60 companies are coming for placement.College needs you to do two internships before completing post graduation: Rural internship and Industrial/ Research Internship. Industrial internship stipend depends on company varying from 50000 rupees per month to 200000 rupees per month.

We have three fests in year. (1)"Concours" is our sports festival. (2)"I.Fest" is our technical festival being managed by IEEE student branch. (3)"Synapse" is our techno-cultural festival. There are many sports competitions in concours and around 32 various events in I.Fest and Synapse.

Fees structure is feasible for middle class. It is 1,04,500 rupees per semester. We have two semester in one year: Winter and Autumn. So total fee is around 210000 per year. But it includes tuition fee and hostel staying fee(Hostel is in the campus and it is mandatory to stay in hostel for PG students). Eating is on your own money. So around 300000 expense is being made for education per year.

College gives two scholarships. I am not eligible for that so I don't have much idea about that. But it also supports government scholarships like MHRD survey, MYSY by Government of Gujrat. Loan is also available.

We have 6:1 boys to girls ratio. Extracurricular activities are so much. We have more than 30 clubs in the campus like chess club, music club, dance club, khelaiya club for Garba etc. Also College had SBG (Student Body Government).

Hostel is good for stay. They are providing high speed wi-fi. In one room , two person is sharing. For PG students hostel stay is mandatory. Hosel fee is 18000 per semester which includes living only. You have to find your food on your own. Hostels are clean and good.

We have alumni network on Alma connect. I am kind of introvert so I have less contacts with seniors but yes they are very helpful. They give us very good tips to crack interview for placements.They all are very kind.

There is a committee in Gujrat called ACPC (Admission Committee for Professional Courses). 50% of the College seats are being filled through this committee. Other 50% seats are being filled through JEE Mains Score and NRI quota. I chose this College and course because it was the best I could get by my rank in Gujrat which was 26th.

Overall faculty is good. But there are some poor knowledge faculties. Like for one course faculty was too good. And for another one subject, faculty was too bad. He couldn't even finished his subject and still asked whole syllabus in the exam.
