Course Curriculum Overview
The circulum I feel is not relevant and useful for applications in the real world . They can improve the circulum and make it much more relevant and useful rather than giving unnecessary subjects that are not even relating to the course. The teaching methods are also average and can be improved. Exams are conducted leaving every month in between. And they are not that difficult , anyone can easily pass .
Fees and Financial Aid
Mt yearly fees for the first month was 8000 , but it increased in the second year to 9000. No scholarship or any financial aid is being provided by the college. Also the admission fees was 200 that was to be paid during the admission process. No extra charges for anything else except the expenses of study material and things brought for practicals in the lab.
Campus Life
Festivals like navratri , teacher's day are being celebrated. Yearly fest also happens once . The books and journals in the library accessible to read but not to purchase. Each class has a projector . And computer labs have computers no extra facilities like wifi etc are being provided. Sports and extracurricular events also takes place..
Admission
I didn't apply for any other colleges. I only applied for this college and got easily selected here . The admission process was a little complex, we were asked to fill too many information. And the process was quite lengthy, but got admission easily. There were no entrance exams or cutoffs , just 12 th pass was the only criteria
Faculty
The faculty to students ratio is approx 30: 70. Though they are not that approachable for giving information or any asked questions by students. I don't like the faculty of family and community science as no practical life knowledge is been provided,just the bookish theories. We have 4 exams yearly , and they are very easy to pass , not much students fail the exam . The course curriculum is not really good according to me.
