Entrance Preview

I give Higher secondary examination 12 (10+2). There are a rule of 45% of total Marks must be obtained by the student to take admission to the college.

Internships Opportunities

As earlier said its a degree college so there are no company's available for camping. So here you can complete your Graduation in 3 departments. Arts Commerce, Science.

There are two celebration in a year 1. is freshers welcome fest another one is Annual college Fest. Beside Teachers Arrange various kind of seminar. The seminar which arrange by teachers its not small its quite big & its collaboration of two or three college for organizing seminar.

Yeah there are scholarship available for the student. Students welfare fund does a great work for scholarship. from this fund they are giving scholarship to the needy meritorious student.

Campus is very Large to Chill out at present there TMCP rulling student union. This college where i didn't face any ragging in my time and this is carried by the senior student that there no ragging in college.

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.

SAJC - From The Eye of a Student.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is of course outdated. Teaching methods are old. No case studies, competitions or project of any sort is there in the curriculum. Although a project of 100 marks is there in the final sem, but I don't think that's enough. There is no practicality in the curriculum and usability in career. The syllabus really needs an uplifment.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is average , I chose this course because I wanted to do an honours degree and I'm from commerce background so my first pick was B.Com . They really put efforts to prepare students for well future , as I said earlier some teachers are genuinely very good helpful supporting and good at what they do . Something they need to approve is the 70% attendance criteria, I think they need to understand not every student is just persuing graduation they are doing some other courses or jobs etc so they can't maintain 70% attendance . The frequency of timing is average

The Tarakeswar college is best in Hooghly

Basically I like English and I addmission in the college then I went to college for verification there was so charming and silent natural surroundings I love it very much .The seniors and teachers are helpful they verifying documents one by one .my application fees are 2000 i got scholarship from Swami Vivekananda and obc and minorities scholarship. The library system is so good and by Depertment there's are one library enough book store there .I immediately take my library card from library showing my addmission copy then I got my favorite book from there .In college a big sports field where we played and sanitary bathroom water for drink available everywhere. the class teachers are so good experienced they thought us carefully and important notes providing us .now days the addmission processing are so easy and teachers are new comming .exam center are responsible directed by the teachers .And students who have low marks can may be chance by there reservation certificate like St SC...Read More
