Remarks

There are no negative remarks since the college has just given me good memories and quality education. I am proud to be an alumina of Campus Law Centre, Faculty of Law, DU. The teachers, education, extra curricular activities everything is on mark.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

Exams occur on a semester basis i. e. twice a year so it wasnt that hectic. The course structure covers all the areas of law which should actually and practically be there in an ideal syllabus. No area of law was left untouched.

Placement Experience

4.5

We are required to internships but they are to be found on their own atleast till the time I studied there we had to search on our own. Placements and job opportunities are decent. The college gets companies and firms to recruit from the college.

College Events

4.5

Not many cultural events and festivals are celebrated since it is more of a professional studies college. Few events like Alumini meet and fest are celebrated. Participation is great as students from different colleges participate.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is not at all expensive. Since it is a government institution the fee structure is really really feasible. The maximum fees for one semester is approx. Rs. 8 - 9k which is actually very affordable.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

I did not take any such facility. I know of concession in fee which is provided to students under certain categories such as SC, ST, OBC, physically handicapped, students from army background etc but apart from that I have no knowledge.

Campus Life

4

Gender ratio is pretty good. Since nowadays girls are actually allowed and promoted to study law the gender ratio is much better than what it used to be. Extracurricular activities included Moot court competitions, National conferences by high level dignitaries, Social interactions with jails, human right groups, ngos etc.

Alumni/Alumna

The college seniors are very helpful and they should actually be interacted with because they can prove to be of great help. They have more experience, more contacts and knowledge so they are in better position to guide you then anyone else. I particulary had a college senior who helped me during all the 3 years with moot courts, studies, internships.

Admission

There is an entrance exam to get into the Faculty of Law, DU which I cleared and got admission. It is the best college for 3yr LL. B. degree and so I had to study from the best and decided to prepare for it.

Faculty

5

The faculty of the college is amazing. It is best college because of its highly qualified faculty. The teachers are ready to teach and answer queries even after the classes and during break time. The cooperation and support provided is what makes them different.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The LLB course is much respected when you take from our campus i.e. Campus Law Centre for 3 year LLB course. Many respected alumni are there like the current CJI Mr.D.Y.Chandrachud and 7 other sitting judges of SC. Many societies like Legal Aid Society is good for exposure to outer world. The exams are not too difficult when you go hand-in-hand with curriculum.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course structure is quiet different from 5 year LLB as the college provides case based study. It is more good for the real law world as we understand the Law from the core, its history, interpretation and applications of the law.

Placement Experience:

There is a PLACEMENT CELL run by students of the FACULTY of law which is least accessible or used to be accessed by students. Besides all of them, some of the students prefer to prepare for judiciary to be a judge or some of them dream to be a good criminal lawyer or a civil lawyer depending upon their choice. As much as I'm concerned after getting my degree I'm planning to pursue LLM from the same University and thereafter PhD which again provides you with plenty of opportunities like teaching as a professor in Law Colleges. Overall I can say once you have earned a degree from this prestigious institution you will definitely find your way towards success.
