Remarks
If you take admission into this college take your full responsibility of studies.Because the teachers here are not so great. Only one teacher from ten is knowledgeable. Teachers here are very less in numbers.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course Structure is the same as there is in other colleges for engineering. There is so much syllabus but the college has no nice teachers who know how to teach a subject that is provided to them. Exams and labs are not that hectic.
Placement Experience
Placements in our college are ok. It's not very good and not even very bad. We have to go to others colleges of jis group to give exams and Interviews. Our college does not provide any internships. Different companies which came in other colleges of JIS group are ITC, IBS, emphasis, kastura technologies, VVDN, Capgemini, Zensar, and others.
College Events
Very fewer numbers of events are celebrated in our college. I can even say that no big events are celebrated in our college. Our college celebrates republic day and independence day. And our college also celebrates Saraswati Puja. And our college also conducts hackathons. And jis tech fest also takes place once a year.
Fee Structure And Facilities
I pursue B.Tech from jisce. And the total fee for the four years is approx 450000. There are 8 semesters and each semester has a different fee. The first semester and the second semester have the same fee, and like this 3rd and 4th semester has the same fee, the 5th and 6th semester has the same fee, and the 7th and 8th semester has the same fee.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes, our college provides a loan facility. I myself have taken a loan. The bank from which the loan is taken can directly transfer the money to the college account during the fee payment timing. Different scholarships are there for one girl child and for backward castes.
Campus Life
There are one-two extracurricular activities not much. And they are not given that importance. Cricket and Football are played in our college. There is also NCC. Flip learning is introduced in our college. Our college is also autonomous. A dancing and singing group is there in our college.
Hostel Facilities
Yes, I have opted for the hostel. The hostel fee is more than required. There is no regular wifi facility, the food is not so good. There is no cleaning. Hostels rooms are very small. In one room three girls need to adjust themselves. If you complain about anything, nobody will take responsibility. So, don't stay in a hostel.
Alumni/Alumna
Senior students are helpful. They tell us their experience and guide us whenever we need them. There is no ragging in our college. Strict rules are there against ragging. Seniors are helpful if we want to organize any event. And if we help in our studies.
Admission
I wrote ampai exam which is conducted for only jis group colleges, I get a nice rank and because of that I got a seat in the stream I want to enter. I selected cse stream because of its great demand in today's world. There is a lot of job opportunities in the computer stream. And I like coding that's why I chose computer science. In today's world, the whole society is moving towards technology for every small work in which computer science plays a very important role.
Faculty
The faculty of our College is very irresponsible. They are not even supportive. They have ka k of knowledge. You will get to learn something from teachers only in the 1st year. After that, you have to study everything yourself.
