Remarks

The college is great but the discipline level is too much 75% attendance is compulsory or you'll be backlogged from the subject and you'll have to pay 8450rs per subject and you'll have to attend those classes again in next sem the campus is big so walkin

Entrance Preview

LPU-NEST I was among Top 10% students i chose this college because I was getting scholarship here & the college is also very cool.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Curriculum is a bit large we have around 35 lectures a week and each lecture is of 1 hour most of the faculty is good but our maths teacher is not a good teacher at all right now we don't have any electives.

Internships Opportunities

Internships are good and many new companies also came for internships as well as the MNCs the college offers internships inside the college too so that people actually learn something.

Placement Experience

3

Placements are fine, cognizant, techmahindra, etc are bulk recruiters here with a package between 2-4 lacs the highest package for engineering was 7 lacs from practo many other companies like IBM, WIPRO, HCL are visiting regularly for all streams, the highest package was of 22 lacs by ritz carlton hotel.

College Events

4.5

The latest event was youth vibe its a big event with teams coming from many colleges and giving some great performances the event lasted for 5 days earlier an event called spectra was organised for only LPU students technical events like guest lectures from industry & workshops are a usual practice.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee for engineering is 84500rs per semester the college offers many scholarships on the basis of marks, score in JEE, score in LPU-NEST, sports, etc so after scholarship and early admission my fee is Rs.31000 per semester only academic fee.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes the college has good scholarship scheme of upto 5 lacs per student also the college helps in getting loan too they have a special loan assistance cell.

Campus Life

5

Campus life is amazing the campus is very large its 600acres the campus has a mall in it and dominos, showrooms of laptops and other shops, snooker, bowling and other games the campus has a hotel too of its own there is no racial discrimination and students are very helpful to each other workshops and other competitions etc are very frequent.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostels are good and nicely built mess food is not so good you can opt for AC rooms or cooler rooms and 1 seater,2 seater ,3 or 4 or flats as per your budget.

Alumni/Alumna

Yeah the campus has a alumni network and all seniors are happy with the college i have not listened even one bad thing about the college from a senior.

Exam Structure

Exams dont ask this question CA, Mid Terms, Assignments, Term Papers etc dont even let you sleep with peace of mind.

Course Curriculum Overview:

From the begning i was always into tech and computers i liked to make my school persentation on my pc and that's the main reason for taking the stream CSE . The curriculum makes you ready for thr real world application by providing classes for eveything that a student is facing problem. If you ask me for the suggestion then some teachers should change their tecahing methods so that they will help the student in a better way . The frequency and timing of the exam goes like the college conducts two internal exams for the internal marks known as MST and one final exam and the difficulty level is medium

In LPU placement process usually start from 6th semester onwards. Many good companies come to campus like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Cognizant, Accenture, Amazon and few product based also. Some startups also visit. The no. of offers are quite large every year because batch size is big. Highest package I heard was around 40 LPA but that is very rare, only 1-2 students get. Average package is around 5–6 LPA for CSE branch. For other branches it is little bit low. Almost 80-85% students who are seriously preparing gets placement from college. College also provide placement training and soft skills classes which help in interviews.
