Entrance Preview
I had given IIT entrance but I was nit able to score well to qualify for the councelling.I got late in taking admission so I got admission here in this college on yhe basis of my intermediate percentage, 80%.
Course Curriculum Overview
There are various programs that college used to conduct. Technical programs that they are offering are good from the point of view. But the college crowd is not that appropriate. This year our college faculty has got trained in Germany for the Robotics. Half of the total faculties is good and the other half is not upto the mark.
Internships Opportunities
Internships in companies are not provided by the college. Students go to the companies for the training program on their own. There is no stipend in the industry where I've done my training .My experience in the ordnance training factory was very good from the educational point of view.
Placement Experience
Placements are average I can say. Some good companies offer high salary posts upto 10 lacs per annum also. But very few students are there who are actually interested in placements. Some fraudulents are also there but these cases are now taken very seriously by the management.
College Events
College festivals are very cool here, technical festival are also organized but on the local level only 5-7 colleges are invited there. Management festivals are also very well organized, they are good. Cultural festival Dharohar has the budget of 4-5 lacs this year. Some bands perform western music here.
Fees and Financial Aid
I haven't got any scholarship in my college but for those who have 75% and above in PCM are eligible for scholarships. Some scholarships by the uttrakhand government are also provided to the students.
Campus Life
Girls and boys both are almost equal in ratio. Campus life is not that good. We get bored on the off days of the college. It looks like no one studies here.Labs are having the facilities but not the best facilities. They are upto the mark.Extracurricular activities like various sports activities , debate and all are regularly being organized.There is no students Union in this college.
Alumni/Alumna
For now we are the senior most student of the B.Tech course. Our year has got the highest strength than our juniors. Senior junior interaction is very less. Juniors are boring and even seniors doesn't take the initiative to talk.
