QST( FUTURE IS EXCITING)

As our College is privately-owned so direct admissions were available and I also opted for direct admission but the 12th and 10th percentage criteria are still there for scholarship benefits. I did not take any reservation benefits. The admission process was mostly hassled free and minimal documentation was required.

Teachers were helpful and the exams were held at regular intervals, The time gap which was meant to be there was always maintained, On talking about the difficulty of exams then it was not at all easy to pass..you will have to have a thorough knowledge of the subject. Teachers were well qualified.

Almost 60% students were placed through campus placements, as I can recall no manor I ternship opportunities were available on campus. On talking about placements in UTU, we can say that there is obviously a bunch of students getting placements every year, The companies which visit the campus on a regular basis are such as wmspl , infosys,mahindra , jk , wipro and much more counting. The students getting placements are not the ones who are differentiated, it is approachable to everyone. The normal package offered ranges from 2LPA per annum at starting to 2.5 lacs per annum based on the company. The top roles offered were PLANT supervisor and maintenance engineer, and pipelines engineer.

The total fee for the course was 6 lakhs including bus fees. Scholarship was available for Uttarakhand state domicile students and govt aided seats are there for other seat students but mostly scholarships were awarded to Uttarakhand students.

My batch was 2012 to 2016 mechanical engineering batch 120 students were there in two sections. The campus area is a little bit smaller according to the student strength, on-field training should have been available for students, and workshops were not there for more realistic training. ANNUAL FEST DHAROVAR happens every year and it is the most fun time for every college student. Sports tournaments were also organised like cricket and volleyball.
