Only positive remarks. Everything is excellent including infrastructure, curriculum, teachers, environment, placements and what not. college is excellent for overall personality development of a student.

Course curricular is really great. Our college is autonomous and so the syllabus is designed by college itself. Exam structure is also really good. There is no one 100 marks exam. Instead it is divided in 4 small exams so that students will open their books every now and then and not just at the end of the semesters.

Placements are awesome. IT placements are on top for past few years from college. Recently Microsoft hired 3 CSE students for 36lpa. Last year 3 student were placed in Japanese rakuten company for 37 lpa. Amazon recruited some students for 29 lpa. Also companies like Dell, Thoughtworks and other great MNCs visit college every year. The average package amount is 6-7 lpa. College also gives apportuinities for internship and many internships are converted into full time job.

WCE propmotes extra curricular activities alongside studies. Every year 'vision' is organised which is a technical mega event at state level. Here students can showcase their talents in various fields. Also gathering, and days like back to school day, tapori day are celebrated for fun.

Fee structure is quite feasible. Fees right now are around 80k which is normal for engineering and for such quality education. This fee is for open. For other categories fees are less than this. So according to me fees are okay.

Scholarships are provided in various manners. I got scholarship as EBC that is economically backward class for 3 years. Also I received Central Sector Scholarship for 1 St for securing 80+ percentage in my 12th.

Labs are well equipped. Sports tournaments are organised every year and students participate in them enthusiastically. College has an excellent ground surrounded by a 600 m walking track which is aligned with massive trees. Also gyms are available for both boys and girls with good facilities.

Seniors are one of the best part of walchand College, because they are so helpful and guide you in every way possible. Whenever you need them you can contact them. And if you're in WCE make sure you make use of your seniors' guidance and mentoring.

I completed my 12th in 2015 and also attempted JEE that year. The weightage for board was 40% and for JEE was 60%. So after that the total percentile was calculated and merit list ranks statewide were disclosed. Depending upon that we filled the cap round forms for Colleges in Maharashtra. And that's how by my merit I got admission in the college.

I am very happy that i am alumnus of that college. The placements are really good. Environment is career oriented and sincere. And it's one of the most reputed and preferred college by potential engineers. So in my opinion if you get admission in this college go there without a blink in eye.
