The course curriculum is like IIT. The syllabus is good and perfect. For any courses there is a different syllabus which is very good for the study of students. There's also good facilities for each and every subjects in any program. The college followed the IIT's line up and syllabus.

There is a placement cell in the SUIIT campus which takes care the placement of students. Students get their job opportunities by going other campus which is informational of the college. SUIIT is also an autonomous college which is associated with Sambalpur University. The job opportunities coming from the University are also the job opportunities for SUIIT students.

SUIIT every year celebrated their annual fest named AAVAHAN and the athletic and sports meet named ATLETICA and their is a innovation meet up for the technical named INNOVATE. And it celebrates all the festivals according to academic calender

Fee structures for all the students are good but the fee structures for the b. tech students are high as it is a self financing college. The fee structures for all the masters program are good than other universities

There are separate hostel in SUIIT campus in for both ladies and gents named ARYABHATTA HALL OF RESIDENCE,MAYITREE HALL OF RESIDENCE AND BHASKAR HALL OF RESIDENCE. And the mess facilities are also available for three hostels.

An entrance exam was conducted in the year of 2018 for the seats of students who can take the admission into various programs and there's some eligibility criteria for the students who can appear the entrance examination for the admission.

All the teaching faculties are UGC approved and the non-teaching faculties are also good and they are doing their job since the college was opened. All the faculties are good in manner and behaviors of them also good.
