College review

Asutosh College is among the best college with strong infrastructure and programmes that can be provided to students. It has proper management, faculty and other facilities. It is culturally rich and famous.

The BSc. Chemistry course is very systematic and well structured, with proper faculty and staffs. They looked after each students and conducted class tests to record our progress. Practical classes were well informed.

No the course I took didn't have placement options and doesn't have any internship program. But they provided us with utmost knowledge. We are supposed to apply for masters and our college is planning to bring masters program for my respective course.

There are a lot of events going on in our college. First of all they give us the best fresher's party ever possible on huge scale and also conduct Saraswati Puja. Besides we have our internet fest UDAAN with various competitions.

Fee Structure is very feasible, allowing students of every financial background to pursue education. We are provided with best facilities available in minimum expenses which is around 6000-7000 rupees per year, which is very affordable.

I don't know of any such facility. But our college provide concession for very needy students who wants to pursue education but fail due to financial causes. This leads a way for them to educate themselves with ease.

Our college conducts sports every year with various kinds of activities. We also have an inter-college cricket tournament APL and inter- college Football tournament ASL to encourage our interest in sports.

I don't know about any alumni network yet but I can comment on senior's role in our college life. They always guide and encourage us infusing knowledge of their own experience. They help us whenever asked and are very friendly with us.

I applied online for the course by filling the admission form and they called all applicants and selected based on merit. So ones with highest marks got qualified on the first list and got admitted on the same day while second list was provided for the rest ones.

Faculty members and teachers are very careful in handling each student and mark their progress, they are always interested in answering our doubts and guide us for better knowledge. They are very cooperative.
