Remarks

My college has more positives than negatives,but it has to be improve in many aspects and be a top college for this every student,every faculty,every Dean,every worker and director had to work hard to make college better environment for students

Course Curriculum Overview

My branch in my college is electronics and communication engineering,it is quite interesting and challenging to me and exam structure was good enough for a student to improve themselves. Exam mainly focuses on students perception of subject.

Placement Experience

Yes,they provide internship but not enough for students,the companies that visit the college are quite less compared to companies that had to visit any national institute,students try outside of college for internship.

College Events

They are many events in my college both technical and cultural, in the starting semester of the college there will be a technical fest,and after that semester in even semester there will be a cultural fest called moksha.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee in my college is as of many national institutes, but if we have income certificate of below 1lakh then we have fee less, and also fee differs from caste to caste,region to region and community to community.

Fees and Financial Aid

I will get scholarship named ffe means foundation for excellence,it is a private organisation that helps students who are ecenomically backward irrespective of the caste, this foundation also helps students to achieve their goals by training.

Campus Life

My college has good environment for sports and labs,for extra circular activities there is no sufficient equipment or place or encouragement, students have to do their own and they have bare the economic expenses for their activities college helps a less.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is good, but I don't think they really helpful,some are but not all, I don't know why they can't even help their juniors in college or help them or lead them as they are experienced.

Admission

I got admission through jee mains exam, through my rank I got seat in this college in first round of counselling and after that my admission in college is quite lengthy when i joined but they are necessary.

Faculty

Faculty in my college are very supportive and talented, but also in every college some faculty exist that they waste students and their time,my college also have some,more over faculty is good enough.

All about NIT Agartala

Placement Experience:

As the NIRF ranking is going high year by year, companies are coming less and giving less preffer to NITA, Previous 2 years CSE, ME, CE students got 99% placement of avg. 8 LPA and one student got 1.2 cr off campus.

Eyeopener

Placement Experience:

From third year students are eligible for campus placement and internships. Many companies visit like Microsoft , CISCO , L&T , Mahindra etc . Highest package offered was 52lpa in tech and 20lpa in core and average package is 9lpa. Around 75% student get placed . My plan is to do M.tech by qualifying GATE exam .

Placement Experience:

Placements are good enough if you if your skills are much better than others if your CG is at least above them 8.5 then you will definitely get a good package so many companies comes to our college including Microsoft Google Amazon etc.. highest package of last year is 68 lpa

NIT Agartala is one of the most prettiest colleges in India!!

Placement Experience:

From Gaya Steel, to JK Tyres and companies involved in production were the ones who gave us placements. On and average production engineers at our college were paid around 4-5 lakhs a year. The lowest of all but still in top corporate houses as no start-ups are into production. This established names where the one who gave us placements.

JOURNEY TO NIT AGARTALA

Placement Experience:

The market is down these days so placement is not very good but yeah i would say its average not that bad. In 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements and company starts visit to campus. Sicne the placement season just started so the process is going on but yeah deollite, oracle, sigmoid, globallogic and many more came and offer jobs. The highest package on campus is nearly about 23lpa which is offered by British Petroleum and average package may vary from 10lpa to 14 lpa. Almost 96% student got placed every year rest are seeking for higher studies and appear in Gate exams. I will take job and start my corporate journey.

Students become eligible for placements after coming in 7th semester which is the start of 4th year. Multiple companies from both tech and core field visit the campus. Life at NIT Agartala: A Perfect Blend Of Academics, Opportunitites, and Campus Vibes

Placement Experience:

Placments at NIT Agartala are strong, with students becoming eligible for campus recruitment from 7th semester. Top compines include Google,TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, L&T, Nvidia,Samsung,BEL and public sector units(PSUs). The highest package goes upto 50 LPA in software roles, while the average package ranges from 8-12 LPA for core and tech roles. Around 80-85% students secure placements, with higher percentage in CSE,ECE and core branches. After completing my B.Tech in ECE, I plan to explore opportunities in core electronics, Embedded systems, or software development, leveraging my academic background annd internship experiences.

My views on NIT-A

Placement Experience:

Placements records are pretty good and it's improving with time. The nirf ranking of nit Agartala among the engineering colleges has also reached 82 from 91 so it's a good walk . And there's no unemployment of the student has the potential.

Eyeopener

It is long journey of hard work how i get in this college and course . First I qualified JEE main but not got good rank so I got Biotech branch in NIT Agartala according to my rank . But I studied well in first year and scored a high CGPA and slided my branch to Mechanical . I have in all top NITs but not got a ceat there . Admission is only through JEE main rank . JOURNEY TO NIT AGARTALA

When I was applying to collleges, I appeared for JEE Mains and applied to other NITS and IIITS , My aim wwas to secure admission in reputed national institutes with good placements. I got admission in NIT Agartala(ECE Branch),which i chose over other colleges because of NIT brand value, national-level peer group, alumini network. I couldn't make it to the top tier NITS and IIITS as my JEE rank was slightly higher than their cutoff range. The competition is extremely tough and even a few marks can make huge difference in rank. The admission process is conducted through JoSAA/CSAB councelling based on score, For btech admission,JEE main is the accepted and most prefrred exam. The basic eligibilty is passing 10+2 wiht Physics ,Chemistry and Maths. Cutoff vary depending on category and branch.
