University Admissions

Overall, kiit is a very nice place to be in for 4 golden years of your life. One would enjoy his life to the full. Every moment spent here would be special. The food courts, gums, clubs, dining points, one would remember everything. And yes, not to miss the study and faculty interaction.

There are theoritical as well as practical papers. Whatever we learn in class, we get to implement the same during our practicals. Two exams were conducted. mid sem and end sem. One would easily get to enjoy his/her time as the days were not at all hectic.

Placements are awesome. We have a placement cell which is accountable for placement of it's students. We are given free training sessions and are being prepared by thes people before we appear for an interview.

There are fests, workshops, sport events, and various cultural events being conducted on a larger basis. We have MUN which provides good opportunities to the students. Also, all the famous festivals are celebrated in college premises at a great level.

Fee is a bit high. For 2013-2017 batch, it was around 3 lakhs per semester. Since we had 8 semesters, fee was a bit high I guess. However, the facilities provided were to that level which is nowhere else to be found.

I have been a scholarship student. So mine was the scholarship which is meant for top three students from every stream for a semester. There are various scholarships available. Also, there are loan facilities which would be highlighted at the payments help desk at the time of admissions.

There is a student activity wing which is responsible for carrying out various activities and engage students as per their interest. This wing constitutes of various groups which are involved in various dissimilar activities. One can also create a new group of his own go showcase the talent.

The hostels have 3 sharing rooms. The rooms were spacious with separate cupboards for each student. It was airy and nice. The caretakers were polite and helpful. Food was nice too. We used to get tasty food with menu being rephrased at an interval of every 6 months.

Alumni network is very strong. There are meeting whicha Fe being held at every interval. Alumni are called to kiit for meetings too. Alumni share therevaluable experiences which would guide one or the other person to achieve his goal.

I appeared for KIITEE entrance exam and was called for appearing in admission process based on the scores. I chose IT as my course because IT was always my preference as I liked the world of coding and computers.

Faculty members are highly qualified people who would always help the students to fly high. They protect us, and guide us to achieve out goals. They are soft spoken and highly interested in teaching the class everyday with new topics of interest.
