Remarks
It is one of the best college in India. I love my College and i think it depends on students how they are using it. There is no negative remark from my side. Students have everything here which is useful for them.
Course Curriculum Overview
In first year we have to study courses related to each branch and from second year we have course from our branch only. Course Structure is nice as but sometimes we all have so much things in a day but the thing is when it will become our daily routine then things will become easy. Overall it is chill and I am enjoying my life.
Placement Experience
This year IIT Delhi recorded highest placement among IITs so with this data you can thing about the placements. Yes, They provide internships. I am in first year so i don't have any experience of internship now. I think all companies used to come here for placement. I think this year the best package is adound 1. 5 crore.
College Events
The best event is Rendezvous(north India's largest fest) which is cultural fest. There are much more Events are there and I think they are countless. There is technical fest Tryst which is also a big fest. The BRCA nights, Converzes, hostel fest and all other are lit.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is totally besed income and caste. There is also scholarship provided by IIT by means of many things. Besically the tution fee for one semester is 1 lacks but it is only for gen and obc students who have income greater than 5 lacks and the good thing is that for much more student this fee is either zero or very less.
Fees and Financial Aid
So many Scholarship are there for each group of people based on income, gpa etc. U can get scholarship for fee payment, for good gpa and other than scholarship they will give us prize money when we will win something.
Campus Life
I think. for everyone it is the best place to explore other things. Here there are many clubs which you can join to learn something or to show your talent other tham studies. The gender ratio is 1:5 for my year student but overall i think it is around 1:10. In IITs you are free to live your life in your manners.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is best part of any students life. The hostel are good but they become more become when we enjoy our life with friends not by the quality of hostel. Mess food is good enough and i think many times we use to have a party outside or eat outside due to lack of time. so its good overall.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network is very large. they have groups with us. different grps for different purposes. If you have more connections with your seniors or alumni or friends then u will always going to get experience regarding each things giong to happen. Alumni are very helpful and they also provide scholarships for us.
Admission
For admission in any IIT there is a exam JEE Advanced in which you have to qualify and achieve a good rank. Then there is a admission process in which we got different branches in different IIT on the basis of the rank we achieved in JEE Advanced. I got 968 AIR rank in JEE Advanced exam in 2019. I was so happy when i saw my result and then I got selected for admission in IIT Delhi in Computer Science branch. I choosed this branch as I like coding and tech things.
Faculty
The best things with faculty is that they are experienced. They are also friendly. If you want to study a course with interest the faculty will be always helpful to you. They also do help sessions for students.
