My College life

Our college is famous by the name of the Major arch bishop father baselios clemees catholics. Everyone from different districts opt for this college. The college committed good infrastructure, lands, workshops.

First of all, The mech course is a pride for boys to say. Mechanical course stands unique from other courses for to it's structure. But the thing is, the study contents for mech is far more and harder then other courses. But the labs are interesting and chilled.

Placements are very bad for mechanical. We faced a lot because our college allows and prefers only IT companies for all branches. They approved not even a single mechanical company to come and place students. Infosys, ibs,tcs are the highest companies came. Stipends starts from 18k per month.

Our college conducts a famous tech great called Crossroads. That event consists of all tech events, cultural and formal events. Main event is ChoreoNight,a dance choreo event where our college team BBoiz are the famous team in India.

Fees - 81000/-per annum + additional expenses. The cost for studying is neither feasible not expensive. In others also annual fee is 75000+6000 for University charges. The additional expenses consists of lab fee workshop fee alumini donation, maintenance fee etc.

I availed free waiver scheme where my College fees is reduced to normal government fees. There are loan facilitate also. Another scheme is for sc,st students, they have free reduction of half the amount.

There are no such gender inequalities in college. College conduct workshops every month, we have iste,iedc and other student programs and land for additional value added program. No politics is involved in college.

Alumini is the least experienced interaction by the students toward seniors. There are no such programs conducted. After college, the Juniors don't know anything about their seniors or what they are doing, nor the faculties also.

There was an entrance exam called Keam in Kerala for the allotment of students in colleges. In that exam i had secured a good score and got into the college. Because of my good score, my fees was reduced from private college fees to government college fees per annum. The allotment was by govt merit basis for me. I chose mechanical because i love the features and working of automobiles and spaceships and also inspired my hero Iron Man. The admission process consists of paying any fees and transferring certificates to college authorities.

Facilities are good but needs to improve. Some facilities are urge to teach us everything also beyond our syllabus to make us feel interesting and comfortable. But some are not even covering our required syllabus because of there busy-ness from there own private tutions.
