Remarks
Education wise the college was good. Teachers were helpful for solving doubts of every student. Class strength was 50 that was the main reason so that teacher can focus on every individual. But fee structure was really expensive which gives the college one demerit point from my side.
Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum was good. Every semester included five subjects and two computer labs. But in the sixth semseter instead of the labs we had to prepare a project. The topic of the project was of one's choice. I prepared a project on object identification system and dog-cat classifier.
Placement Experience
BCA students rarely gets placed from our college campus. MCA and MBA students selection was a common thing. Last year companies like SAP and WIPRO came for placement process. Maximum salary offered for BCA students was around 3 lakh per annum.
College Events
BIT celebrated its annual programme in February every year. It is a four day affair. All the BIT students enjoys these four days very much. One night is for EDM and on the last night a famous Bollywood singer or music director comes and celebrates with us.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee is quite expensive. First semester-55000+5000(security money)+10000(admission fee Second semester-55000 Third semster-60500 Fourth semester-60500 Fifth semester-65500 Sixth semester-65500 Being a child of a middle class family it was a really tough journey for me.
Fees and Financial Aid
No scholarship facilities were there in our college. When I got the admission in knew that being a deemed university the college fees are very high. That's why I enquired in the office about the scholarship exams or any facility of that type but no such facility was there. Loan facility was also absent in the college.
Campus Life
This was the most dissapointed factor in our college. Being from a sports background I was quite eager to get admission in such college which has a huge playground and has a particular cricket team or something like that. Even there was not a proper playground in my college.
Hostel Facilities
No I lived in P. G. Our college has two branches in Ranchi. One is the main branch which has the hostel facilities along with mess facilities. Engineering classes run in the main branch. On the other hand,our college was extension center which have the management classes and computer classes. That's why we have to live in P. G.
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors were really helpful. I was quite lucky in this matter because 4-5 seniors Knew me as we were from the same school from where we got the primary education. Hence that was really beneficial for me.
Admission
Firstly I filled the admission form which came in May 2019,it costed 1500 INR then according to my 12th percentage my name was in the second merit list then I came to Ranchi from my home and after the document verification I got the admission.
Faculty
Faculties were good and helpful. Almost all of them holds P. H. D. degree. Most of them were gold medalist in their respective fields. Especially my teacher of maths and technical English were both really good.
