Remarks

Only the problem is with attendance. Its the main problem. For a science and arts student the attendence but for the commerce student its not necessary for them. It is the bad habit of this college. But all over it is good.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

It is verified courses which are beneficial in every field because it provides facilities, as well as faculties and its exam structure, is same as that of regular school colleges like having two semesters in one year and in total we have 6 semesters all over after an interval of 6 months each.

Placement Experience

3.5

The placements are very good recently the placements have been done by various companies which have taken up the students from this institution like TCS Wipro Microsoft who only needs Science students as I am from Science field I know only about my batch even I got placed in Accenture India.

College Events

5

Cultural activities and many other things live concerts and all.Our college regularly provides some functions in which many delegates comes as chief guest. This gives access to some outer backgrounds of the city.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible, its decent pricing and it can be even lowered when someone is of lower caste and that means that general categories have higher fees as 400000.That's the total pricing for a non hostel person.

Fees and Financial Aid

It only provides reservation discounts like if someone is of lower caste then he has nearly of 50% lower fees compared to normal category. That's the only thing required for the scholarship. Its the Indian technique to provide discount.

Campus Life

4

Its properly there as I have previously mentioned that its faculty is very good and the teachers here are really dedicated to give time on the students to clear their doubts and all.Its a very good thing for a institute.

Alumni/Alumna

As this is college then from my experience they are having the habit of ragging with the students. But the students are very good in terms of studies if they become friend they will help you very friendly which will really help you for the coming semesters because they have already experienced it.

Admission

Its based on the school marks and how your character certificate represents you.I was given the idea of this college by my elders who have already studied in this college and pursue their career from this institution.

Faculty

4.5

As already mentioned it has good faculties and Recreation also good situated in very good place and therefore we have a better lifestyle the teacher is the doubt of the students which is very good as the normal colleges in this area have no intention to do so this is the fact.

College does provide internship opportunities both through the placement cell as well as department faculty. Semester 5 and Semester 7 students are eligible for placements. Average package is about 5.5 lakh per annum for microbiology course. Although placement percentage is on the lower side majority of students go for higher studies. Many prepare for exams like GATE, IIT JAM, etc.

Placement Experience:

college placements are good in this college with a number of good financial and consultancy firms coming in with new gen companies as well in the service and sales industry. moreoever getting a good placement in a top financial or consultancy placement requires a POR in a good society as a criteria, its not really required but adds to your chances of getting it. moreover you require to participate in a number of case study competitions for the same as well. my plans after graduation is probably working for a year or two after which i plan on doing my MBA. around 50-60% who apply get a placement.

In today's competitive job market it becomes important for the college to not just help students get degrees but also provide them with placements and internships so that they can have the experience needed to stand at a competitive footing with the rest of the candidates in the world. To look into this, St. Xavier's College has a Placement Cell run by Placements officer Mr. Niladri Sinha under whose guidance, various companies visit the college regularly looking for capable young minds to take under their wing and help provide them with the necessary exposure and experience so that they can combat any obstacles that they face.

The college offers good placements for economis. Students in their final year are eligible for campus placements and there is a cell dedicated to placements. Many students do not opt for placements and go for higher studies but many students who opt for it, get placed with decent packages. Many well-known companies visit the campus as well. I wish to explore my options after completing the degree as of now.

Placement Experience:

We have a placement cell helping students get placed. They keep posting opportunities like internships and fellowships throughout the year to groom students and give them exposure and experience. Placements can go to very high packages like those in Data Science, Big 4 consulting or core finance or banking jobs. CAs, CFAs and FRMs do well in the placements. The highest packages could surpass 12-13 LPA and median packages are close to 6-7 LPA. DE Shaw, Zomato, Myntra, Meesho, TCS and McKinsey are some top companies coming here.
