Remarks

Better infrastructure Better hostel facilities. Better canteens. Considering the fee structure is so low. There's really nothing much to complain about. Except for how fucked up the course structure as a whole is. When they say "life jhand hai" its a point. A score

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Mbbs is one of the toughest courses you can opt for as a student. And should not be opted for as a necessity or a last resort. As the course is very hectic lasting throughout a 5 year period. With no breaks in between and frequented by insane workload and exam pressure which students of normal threshold might not be able to put up with. Exams are quite hard to get through. Constant and thorough preparations are always needed

Placement Experience

4

Internship or housesurgeoncy period comes at the end of a 4 and half year period and lasts for a year. Mainly contributing and streamlining all the knowledge you have accquires in the course period. Helping you shape ibto a socially responsible doctor. And guarentees immense hands on experience. Which cannot be replaced bh any other workplace experience. Schedules however are breakback and immensly hectic. Pushing you to limits.

College Events

2.5

The campus life is alive fun and frolic. All cultures are warmly welcome without the slightest tinge of segregation or differences. Ranging from sports meets arts festivals Literary events Quizes, Intercollegiate events. The campus is guarenteed fun to be in.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Annual cost 25000 Exam fee annual 2000 Union fee 2000 The fee structure is unbelievably reasonable and low Also aided by grants and scholarships The internship period pays you a monthly 25000. Which is basically giving back everything you've put in.

Fees and Financial Aid

All scholarship schemes provided by the government are sactioned and provided orderly by the campus administration without serious lapses. Except for the obvious hastles and cumbersome office legalities requiring to be mandatorily met. Most scholarships run smooth

Campus Life

2

Thanks to a wonderful and concerned alumni association. Certain infrastructural wonders do exist in the campus. Considering government standards the clincs are satisfactorily maintened with most of the required amenities. However compared to international standards there's still a long road to satisfaction

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni is excellent. Everything you could ask for. Ranging from financial aids. Maintaining a stable campus. Healthy politics. And proper orientation for higher studies. Post graduate training. They're always open to reach out to

Admission

Admission was via 2016 KEAM. was invited for counselling and later completed a hastle free admission process. Followed by a course orientation. And social medicine posting for 10 days initially. The faculty were friendly and receiving. Senior batches were welcoming and warm.

Faculty

3

Highly knowledgable faculty set. Most of them are cordial and pleasant. However exceptions do exist. all efforts you put in will be reciprocated by the staff. However not every one will put put their most into making things knowledgable for you

Even though a bit tight and rushy, this is in fact the best curriculum provided and followed by all medical colleges in kerala. The frequency of exam is high and difficulty level is as same as that of KUHS. This provides relevant experience for the students to weite the university exams

Course Curriculum Overview:

It's always relevant to the content being taught by the teachers. They always use application based questions to prepare us for a real life situation as well. First aid training was also completed. Some of the teachers are very interactive while some not. Short exams are conducted on a weekly basis while internal exams are conducted every 2/3 months. Not that difficult but it isn't that easy either. Very strict checking, nothing is liberal.

The course is a pretty hard one i must say but the feeling of putting on a white coat and looking after patients is surreal and that's the main essence of the job. The curriculum is very vast but each subject is important in its own way. The exams are all conducted in such a way that there's enough time for us to prepare .
