CBME curriculum stands for competency based medical education. It is a very relevant and effective way of medical education . The frequency and timing of exams is appropriate with the difficulty level

Internships Opportunities

There is internship facility in our medical college hospital itself. The last three hundred sixty five days of our course is internship. During this period we get a stipend of twenty five thousand every month

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fees is twenty five thousand For some categories such as EWS SC ST the fees is lower than that There are many scholarships available such as MCM , egrantz and postmetrics . There is university exam fees besides the course fees

Campus Life

Cultural fests such as ethnic day , Christmas, onam. There vast types of books and journals available in the central library. There is much scope for sports and extracurricular activities offered on campus

Hostel Facilities

In a room there are six students. There is a washing machine and , a fridge. There is proper ventilation and lighting. All the students will be alloted to hostel by just filling an application form. Registration process is simple

Admission

This college is very academically strict and the campus life is very good . Likewise there are so many reasons to select my college. I didnt get rejection from any other college. GMC thrissur was my first choice

Faculty

The faculty to students ratio is appropriate. I liked all my first year teachers. There are so many exams continuously . Ninety percentage is the pass percentage. About ten students fail to clear exams in one class

Night Life

There are a well developed gym , many cafeterias, library and many other facilities. Famous hangout places in thrissur is thrissur round and sobha city. College time is from eight am to four pm. Hostel there are no curfew

Admission:

Admission is given based on entrance examination. I am doing my MBBS course from this college. I got admission in this college through NEET entrance examination. After clearing NEET, I applied with my score in counseling, and got admission in this college by my score. We must have studied Physics, Chemistry and biology in 12th and must have completed 17 years of age.

Admission:

So, in order to get admitted, one needs to be either 17 or more in age. It holds some general basic necessities that all colleges demand like (10+2) cbse or equivalent exam degree. And you need to score more than 50% aggregate in PCB / Biotech combined. For admission in UG courses, candidates can apply through their NEET UG medical scorecard. Aspirants need to clear the stated cutoff percentile in order to qualify. Candidates can check the expected cutoff percentile in the year of examination in order to prepare accordingly for their respective categories( general, SC/ST, OBC). A candidate can visit the official portal of Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Kerala to get themselves registered for NEET 2020 Kerala State Counselling. Counselling of NEET 2020 for All India Quota will be conducted in two rounds in online mode. The counselling will consist of these steps. 1. Registering to the official website. 2. You have to choose the courses and colleges of your preference and finally lock-in the preferences in the online portal. 3. The seat allotment will be published online on the basis of available vacancies and candidate’s choices. 4. Those who will be allotted a seat in the first round, will be required to either reject the allotted seat or report to the allotted college and complete the admission formalities. 5. Registration process for candidates who couldn’t register in the first round of counselling. 6. Fresh Choice Filling and Locking for the second round. 7. Seat Allotment Result for the second round. 8. Reporting to college Here it is to be noted that, those who will be allotted a seat in the second round of counselling will not be permitted to vacate their seats as per the orders made by the Supreme court of India.
