As we all know, MCM DAV college is one of the most recognised college in the north india and is also very well known for its fashion.Our college also ranks in top 50 colleges of india for certain streams.

As my subjects include computers also as a main subject so there is a lot of practical work which we perform daily in our labs.Further i have physics also as my main subject and we have to attend physics labs too.So, basically it becomes a very hectic day for me in total.

As i am in my last year of graduation now, so i am attending a few placement drives in my college.Deloitte, wipro, infosys and amazon were the companies in which me and my friends participated, firstly they conduct an online test and the next part is interview and after clearing these two major sections, a person gets selected in that particular company.

Meraki is the main event of our college which is organised every year in Feb-Mar and is the biggest event for which tricity waits for and further there are many events which our college organise like IT Fest etc.Our college also participates in youth fest which is the event of PU(Panjab University).

Approx 24,000 is the fee of my course and one lakh five thousand is for the hostel this year.Its almost 20 k to 25 k for every stream.Hostel fees increases to certain percent every year.It is feasible according to the things they provide.

I am just having knowledge about the fee consolation for jammu and kashmir residents and for students whose parents are in army.Consolation for single girl child is also there and for ones who score very good percentage in their semester exams.

Our college also has rock climbing which no other college supports.Sports like hockey, basketball are the main games in outdoor.Labs are also well maintained with proper equipments provided.These all are really good in theie own field.

Hostel rooms are four, three and two sharing according to your preference in second and third year.MCM DAV college has a very huge hostel so there are no limited seats criteria but to avail seat in the hostel you should not have any re appear in any subject.

Yes, our seniors are very helpful and friendly rather it be studies or other activities our seniors always supports us and ragging is also strictly banned so there is never any case of ragging in our college.

There was a counselling session in khalsa college at sec 26, chandigarh and students were selected wrt the merit list and i got selected in the third counselling by simply displaying my documents and marks scored.

The faculty has plenty of knowledge regarding their particular subjects and they are very polite in communicating so that every student can clear their doubts on their own.All the teachers are very helpful and guide us in a very correct way.
