positive: the institution is very academic friendly and is keen on enriching youe academicia.also the faculty is well cinnected with other academicians.the teaching quality is very good. negative: the politics inherent adversely affect the administration.
Course Curriculum Overview
the course syllabus is very vast and touches all the nook and corner of english and comparative literature.it is a double main course so the work is hectic according to that.a laptop is needed.external end sem exam consist of 60 marks and internal consist of 40 mark.the final cgpa is calculated as the sum of external and internal.short essays of 5 or 6 marks and long essays of 15 marks are used in the wuestion paper.
Placement Experience
there is a placement cell and they are cinducting job fair this year.theee is no internship provided in this course.may be other departments provide.as there are 24 departments and each has different working mechanisms.

there is an annual arts fest called Cankama which is an inter-school competition.the cup of cankama is a prestigious one.then there is foundation day celebrated along with convocation.then there is annual sports meet.then cricket tournament, football tournament etc.also onam, christmas and holi are celebrated in the campus.
Fee Structure And Facilities
the fees is feasible as this is is a government institution.its not very expensive.for reserved categories there is exemption and the onstitution facilitates many scholorships to the students.for each course the fees is different and also it varies according to the semester.

i dont know.i have not aviled any.but they facilitate e grants, single girl child scholorship, etc.they are willing to facilitate scholorship by even yhe non- governmental agencies like akta and nss.

Admission
the admission is through an entrance exam conducted by central university collegium.it is a common test for all central universities in India.the admission is solely based on the mark secured in entrance test.after that there is a small interview in the campus.
Faculty
the faculty are very qualified and knowledgable in their area of expertise.there are 6 faculties and all of them have Phds and is very knowledgable in their areas.each of them have their own area in which they provide guidance to the students in need
