Remarks

College is good and also best in puducherry. Finally I would recommend all to join in the college with 100 percent confidence all the best for all.

Entrance Preview

I Centac scored 38 in entrance one of the best institution in puducherry with good facility and the campus meets the need of all the person interview process is easy once u score above the cut off.

Internships Opportunities

College internship went to lnt and also Aditya Birla no stipends provided but the knowledge occurred is much essential for a fresh graduate to learn.

Placement Experience

Shapoorji and many IT companies came companies like Tcs,Infosys,tech Mahendra,sundaram fasteners cordysy. Packages start from 3.5 lakh's per annum highest package was around 11 laksg per annum.

College Events

Technical events symposium and paper presentation held yearly. Cultural events each for all department held separately and also a common event held.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees are very feasible and economical for all students to afford the education in puducherry. Fees per year was 30 thousand per year and it gradually increased by 36 thousand only.

All government scholarship are availed by students in our college and also for the gate scholars the stipend paid in time.

Campus Life

Campus life is so beautiful even now I wish to go there to learn much. In all places the gender ratios is maintained evenly. In extra curriculum our college stan ds tall and also we have been engaged in many national events and also won tournament.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel are good and also the food was ok with non veg provided twice in a week. The room are maintained neat with proper management and also the staff r so guiding and also helping.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni are good in fb and also in twitter. Most if the alumni help in fund raising for thr college for the future events in the college and also helping institutions to gain knowledge. Alumni come n attend and also guide juniors about the latest developments.

Exam Structure

Exams and labs are held good and the management planing was very good to make as feel it is very cool to learn rather hectic.

Faculty

Faculty are on par with IIT and also the subject that they have taught is meeting the industry needs. The electives r given choose with wide spread to learn and shine in the industry.

Students become eligible for placement from 3rd year 6th semester itself but the college does not bring any company for placement on time. 5 years back standard companies lkke tsc, hcl, cts etc used to come. But nowaday it is very rare. Lowest package is 2 lpa and highest package is 6 lpa. Average is 4 lpa. Very least students get placed. Try off campus. Do not believe the college

Placement Experience:

By 7th Semester, students are eligible for Campus Placements and there are several companies that have visited our college during a course of 2-3 months and there were many offers made, highest package was of 9.5 LPA and the average is of 5-6LPA Students are getting Placed very well, and i have place already so my plan is to get into the job and excell in the IT Sector

I got into SMVEC First, after a month later, i got into my current college PTU in which everything was better than SMVEC, SMVEC is a lot more like a school, while PTU is more like a college where the staffs dont consider about any rules, but they be on time and perfect when it comes to studies.
