Remarks

It helped many students to see and become what they are today. It's a wonderful platform to mould you as a great individual. The qualities that we learn through the camps, clubs and other activities that the college offer us is more than just a graduation or a degree.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

My course is pretty innovative and engaging ,but the curriculum is more or less outdated. It has not helped in progressive development of an under graduate into one.The portions are vast and lengthy but exams usually happen after teaching for just 20-25 working days, the sad part is that, a semester and its working days is allocated for 6 months which we complete within a month or less. The schedule is tiring and cumbersome.Students have to work extra harder to meet these abnormal time management of universities. Correction of an examination paper is usually a big disappointment, they are reckless and more irresponsible about the grades and the future of student.

Placement Experience

3

The college is proud to boast about it's own placement cell, where placements happen from time to time. There are internships for students but those oppurtunites are very less and rare. The placement cell works fine under it's coordinators, usually faculties of the institution itself.

College Events

3.5

Cultural fests are the most celebrated fests min our college.Since the college is for Bsc,B.com, BA the technical fests don't happen in the institution. But there are many other engaging activities and students actively take part in them. The fests are begin with the esteemed presence of dignitaries and other distinguished guests. They happen from time to time and most of the students make use of it.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is feasible for all students. The Egrant facility initiated by the govt. makes it feasible for all the students studying in the college. There are other scholarships for the poor children aiming to boost their academics.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am the recipient of Egrant scholarship provided by the Govt of Kerala. This is given to meritorious students who have annual income less than 2 lacks. There are many other general scholarships available for students studying in the college. Most of the scholarships are given by the Govt itself.

Campus Life

2.5

Extracurricular activities are predominant.Students get a good exposure as plenty of social activities like NCC,NSS and large number of clubs make college life engaging and worthy. Sports,Arts and many other cultural fests happen from time to time. The students of campus are active in politics, which is very important as it help us know about our day to day social life and help us stand against wrongful deeds. The unity is sublime and students live in peace and harmony.

Hostel Facilities

3

I am in hostel. The hostel fee is considerably high for a middle class, average family when compared to other similar hostels. This is the college hostel so students of the college usually live here.Rooms are small and comprises of 4 students in one room. The food and other facilities are good. The fee keeps on increasing making it difficult for most of the students.

Alumni/Alumna

I have personally no experience with them, but am sure about thier existence. They do have meetings, frequent reunion and activities of such. They have done many prosperous work in favour of the college and continue to do so.

Admission

The Mars Orbiter Mission(MOM) and launch vehicle Mangalyaan made me curious about the space, constellations galaxies and whatnot. It made me curious about how things work in space. The day to day evolution of a person and his life revolving around the science that people don't usually care about stirred something up inside me.I learnt that this particular branch of science, physics was eradicating all my doubts and curiosities religiously.I want to pursue astrophysics after my graduation to know more outer space and day to day science. The admission process is mainly based on the merit rank list uploaded by universities considering the previous academic achievements.

Faculty

2.5

Faculty is only concerned about covering their assigned portions, they don't generally think from students perspective. They are being tightened by the thick schedule of the university too.We don't get enough time to cover up the curriculum,so they would be stressed which would be again a wrath on the students.

I feel in love with mathematics in plus two time. The coursee are more application based when compared to other. Out college being an autonomous college has good grip to keep up to the level of good education. Overall teaching methods and syllabus are very good. Frequency of exams are troublesome during the last time of year because all the programmes like youth festival annual day etc come together

From 6th semester, students are eligible for placements. Our college has the best placement cell in kerala. Around 30% students are placed each year in our college. Companies like federal bank, infopark invites students from our college for their interviews. The degree mark is not considered, all we have to is just pass the subject and obey the rules of the placement cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because it is rare and it have high potential in national as well international level. But in this college they don't have enough facilities to teach so it won't prepare a student for real-world application. They should include seperate good lab facilities for environmental studies, need permanent teachers and placement activities should be provided. Exams are semester wise and they are easy and easily prepared within short period of time
