Memories of a lifetime in a college

Literature and reading was my hobby and this motivated me to take English Language and Literature as a degree Rich works of historical importance and relevance such as feminism, Dalit literature, Oppression and others included I suggest that the curriculum should include more from young and aspiring writers of coming age Exam timings should be more systematic and organised The time for completing the portions should be given and exam dates should be released one atleast 4 weeks prior to the exam...Semester Gap should be there and certain period should be fixed for each sem and strictly followed too.

A wide variety of renowned companies like Tata, Wipro, Prochant and other IT companies reach students through the college for Placements... From 4th Semester onwards students are eligible to participate in placements conducted within the campus and off premises as well. Many students from the college have recieved placements according to their merit Marks are secondary when it comes to interviews... placements are more dependent upon 21st century skills and then Marks are taken into consideration as well

Fee at the time of admission 9000 including 350 rs caution deposit and other expenses Tuition fees 1650 1st year and 2nd year 1950 for 3rd Year. Exam registration fees 500 rs semesterwise Management seat fees is also same person semester but seat costs may vary

The events held in the campus starts from the Welcoming of Freshers with an event of Cultural activities, music and dance. Every year a college political Union is elected and programs are monitored and initiated by the winning Political union approved by College Trust Members. Each department conducts their own Freshers party every year in a different theme according to the students interest. Then other cultural programs are also appreciated Many celebrities have been welcomed to the college and interacted with the Students Programmes are mostly conducted upon the interests of students rather than teachers and other facilities.. On special occasions like Onam and Christmas programmes are conducted theme based names varying according to the trend of the time. Tour Programme is another main event for the 3rd years in the college every year without fail spanning from 5 to 7 days. Digital classrooms are available and facilities are open for students A big and rich library is free for access for all college students at the time of degree.

TKM College of Arts and Science is a well reputed college leading in Arts and Science degrees for Years It is a part of the TKM group of institutions that have carved many young minds for the future in Engineering, IT, Management, Arts etc I have chosen this college for the same reasons mentioned above...The college offers teachers of great quality and language with its eco friendly campus and disciplined management system consisting of the TKM trust members. The faculties are very educated and of highest qualifications concerning their stream appointed on merit basis..They are very approachable and friendly inside and outside the campus...Rich knowlegde on their subject and overall very updated... The best facilities in English Department as I felt differs on the genre they teach...HOD Niyas sir is expert in teaching psychoanalytic topics and drama Whereas Shaffana miss is an all rounder Sulfiya Miss is an active well versed teacher Sumithra miss and Gayathri miss are well proportionate in everything.Other Male faculties Roshan sir and Ali sir teaches expressively and more interactively. Sherin miss teaches on the light of her long years of experiences as a teacher. There will be one Internal exam conducted every semester and then the semester exams...Exams are conducted with seriousness and strict rules and valuation
