What Students Say

Likes

Kerala University Provide good faculty and environment
They have wide varieties of courses and majors
Colleges Under Kerala university have very well and good infrastructure

Dislikes

Lag in the youth festival kalolsavam result

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because of my childhood impact. I love math's very much and I'm so much interested to find more things about math's and science. Our technology is fully dependent to Mathematics and Science. The curriculum is managed well.

Class Size: 37Course Fees: INR 5000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There are many internship in my colleges especially they get renovated by latest ideas around last year. They mostly provide internship for commerce students and have best project selection. And later select the best students for job.

Placement Experience

They provide good amount of placements with good quality. And the placement cell of my college is very standard and they communicate with us with each and every minute details. And inform us by date by date.

Fees and Financial Aid

Kerala University includes Government Colleges, Aided colleges, Private Colleges, etc. Their fees will be different. I studied in a Aided College TKM College of Arts and Science under the category Aided with a merit seat. So i don't have any fees and only lab fees are there.

Campus Life

Campus is the most attractive thing in my college as i mentioned earlier the name. They got the award for green campus as they are covered with trees and plants they provide different and new version of club activities and club involvement and also provide athletics meet in every year

Hostel Facilities

Hostel are very well clean and their food and accommodation is the most attractive especially in my college TKM College of Arts and Science. They have gymnasium, huge study rooms with laptop connection and Wi-Fi networks.

Hostel Fee: INR 50000 per year

Admission

There is No entrance exams, the seats are assured by our 12th exam marks. They give us seat according to our marks and our eligibility over caste. If you are SC/ST, you only need less marks other than general category

Faculty

The Faculties of My College are very punctual and good and also they are very much friendly towards students and easy to build a communication bond with the faculties. Every department has unique ideas and programs.

Academic excellence in a beautiful campus

Likes

Academic excellence is there. 90 % of students are merit based admission, those who have achieved 90 and above percentage in 12 th grade. So there is high passing percentage.
Cultural programs are regularly conducted. Don't feel stressed out by studies

Dislikes

Sports activities are not regularly conducted or encouraged
Chemistry lab is not clean, chemicals are not kept correctly

Course Curriculum Overview:

My favourite subject is biology. I have applied for zoology course but unfortunately there is no seats available at that time, so I chose Botany which is also my favourite. The curriculum is perfect and prepares for real world. More practical sessions are needed. Every 6 months there will be semester exam. Which is not that much tough.

Remarks:

College lacks infrastructure and ample space for the ease of college excitement but the college offers a great field of laboratories and on-site experience in the field the faculty and lectures sometimes involve too much into their personal life than minding their own business.

TKM College of Arts and Science is a well reputed college leading in Arts and Science degrees for Years It is a part of the TKM group of institutions that have carved many young minds for the future in Engineering, IT, Management, Arts etc I have chosen this college for the same reasons mentioned above...The college offers teachers of great quality and language with its eco friendly campus and disciplined management system consisting of the TKM trust members. On popular opinion, the English Department of TKM College is one of the best available in Kollam. Situated among the TKM group of institutions itself..the atmosphere is a hub for students with all facilities at a reachable distance.
