Course Curriculum Overview

It is affiliated to Vishveshwaraya Technological University belagavi. It is an autonomous institution and accredited by NBA. The placement cell is exceptional, mainly Shernaz ma'am who guides us in every single step starting from how to walk till you get placed.

Class Size: 150Course Fees: INR 100000 per year

Placement Experience

Infosys, TCS, Microfocus, SAP labs, Elexis. Recruitment is based on cut off put up by the respective company.

College Events

VertechX national level technical fest. Swayam national level cultural fest. Industrial day to expose projects to the industry. And students get the opportunity to meet all the industrialists and gain contacts Innovation day, Alumini day, Graduation day, Founders day.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible, It comes upto 1 lakh per annum including all the cet fees exam fees vtu fees n all the library charges internet charges maintainance labs and it also includes the industrial visit charges. They won't take any extra charges later hope it helps.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship dates will b put up on notice board. Student's must apply online and get all the required attestation in the office. Once the scholarship is given it will b put up on notice board.

Campus Life

Exceptional campus life, Extraordinary labs, Supportive teachers and number of extracurricular activities which will b running on the back end throughout the year. There is no ragging at all. The anti-ragging form is signed in the beginning of the first year and complete safety is ensured.

We have the best seniors. They help us in every possible way from placements to projects. They also refer us during alumni meet.

Admission

I opted for computer science because I love programming. I wanted to gain more knowledge about the backend and frontend working. This institution has reputed professional teacher's with exceptional knowledge and service mind. As part of admission, the institution will require all the original certificates and should pay fees.

Faculty

There are about 100 lecturers in my department with exceptional knowledge in and outside their domain. They are very practical in approach. Nobody asks us to heart n stuff like that. They teach us to step by step along with what is happening in the front end and back end.

Academic Curriculum- they constantly upgrade the subjects which needs to be taught
Labs - very well equipped labs for all branches.
You can choose to drop a lab and do it in winter break or summer break

Dislikes

very less holidays only 3rd saturday is holiday and they dont give holidays for jayantis and all
Auto drivers near the college. this is pure daylight robbery

Placement Experience:

From your 7th semester you become eligible to get placed and it is mandatory to get internship before you get placed which the college helps you to get and around 400-500 companies visit, and a good amount of offers are made by them. The average package stands somewhere around 11LPA -12LPA and the highest goes to 50LPA-60LPA and the median stands around 9-10LPA.

I have been from diploma background, after diploma I joined this course as later entry (direct admission to 2nd year). In diploma also, I have studied the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) course. As I know the basic concepts about this course, it is easy for me now to understand the concepts.

Faculties are highly experienced and ready to help all the time

Dislikes

Washrooms need to be clean and good to use especially for girls hygiene it has to be good
Hostel food is not that great and needs improvement in the quality of food
Thought schedule everyday hard to cope up with everything

Security for Students is very high and no ragging

Lack of events and only the educational events
Only one playground for cricket and also remaining
security are very rude but some are bit friendly

Yes our college provide placements, from final year that is 7th semester they will allow for placements, Many companies visited our college like tcs, Cognizant, indegene, microland etc and average package is 400000 and highest is 1500000 it given by oracle, Nearly 60 percent students got that is either in both technical and non technical jobs, my plans to join a IT company

Faculty Experience and Mentorship : Experienced faculty : The faculty at SVIT is often described as appreciable , knowledge, and supportive . professors are well - versed in there respective fields ,and many have industrial experience .
Placement support : Strong placement record: SVIT hasa good placement record ,with many students securing in top - tier companies like TCS , Wipro , Accenture, Infosys,. The college guidence through placement offers traning .

Dislikes

Collaborative Environment : Group project and assignment is core elements of curriculum with many course designed to involve group work and collaborative projects.
Cultural Activities : Are not celebrated more in semister
Collaborative learning : Communication barrier in larger teams especially working with different backgrounds or academic disciplines.

Placement Experience:

The placement at SVIT Bengaluru area quite impressive , especially in the technical field like Computer science, Civil, Electrical and Machanical Engineering.The college has a dedicated placement cell that students get the best opportunities for internship and final placement .At SVIT , Students typically become eligible for campus placement from the 7 th semester . However, the placement cell starts preparing students for interview and skill development from the 5 th semester onwards though mock interview , resume - building workshops , and personality development session.SVIT Bengaluru has strong industry connection , especially in the IT and engineering sectors .some of the companies that regularly visit the campus recruitment includes. TCS , Infosys , Wipro, Congnizant, Accenture,IBM, Capgemini ,Tech Mahendra , Amazon.High- package : The highest salary package offered in recent year was around 15 - 18 lakhs per annum for candidates . Average package: The average salary package offered is ar8 4- 5 lakhs per annum. The placement rates at SVIT is consistently high . On average , around 80-85% of eligible students get placed in good companies.

Less fees but wonderful knowledgeful experience

Particular teaching subject wise was not so clear.
Placement training courses coding wise was not that good.
Water facility sometimes was not good but it was ok nothing to dislike

Placement Experience:

1. From 7th semester onwards placement activities start. But from 1st semester itself they start training. 2. Windcare, Rinexx, Wipro, Infosys, A1 fence, Microdegree, Intellipath and so on. 3. Intellipath offers 10 lakh per annum and so on. 4. 85 percent students where getting placed. 5. To start my own venture.

Placement Experience:

From the end of 6th semester students become eligible for campus placemets.Many companies visit the campus including Oracle, UI path, etc offering students interships and full time jobs.The highest package offered to the student is 50 lakh per annum from UI Path and the average package of CSE branch is around 10lakh. Nearly 93% of students are placed in various companies.My plans after graduation is to grab a good on campus placement and look forward to my other goals in my life.

An honest review

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.

A Journey Worth Remembering

When I was selecting an engineering college I applied to several reputed institutions in Karnataka including Dayananda Sagar College of engineering Acharya institute of technology CMR institute of technology but I couldn't make it due to slightly higher cutoff in CET. I finally choose MVJ college of engineering because of its location infrastructure academic environment and placement opportunities. Situated in Whitefield it's close to several IT companies which is better and increases internship and placement prospects. The campus is spacious clean and well equipped with modern labs and facilities the college also has good reputation under VTU for maintaining academic decipline and quality teaching.
