Remarks

The college faculties are awesome. The college also provides you with a lot of exposure but the management here needs to improve.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

The course curriculum consists of a number of lectures covered in the specified number of days. The curriculum is in constant improvisation to provide best study methods to the students. Every class had a projector because rather than mugging up its better to recognize something when you observe it and watch it and this process helps the students a lot.

Placement Experience

2.5

They collaborate with different industries to provide us with the best possible internships that assure a good working condition and assured future benefits.

College Events

3.5

The college organizes sports week, many international seminars related to entrepreneurship and World health and Social welfare. The winter fest organised here also has sub-events of sports, science-related events, music competitions and a lot more. It's a lot more fun in the falsetto competition as different volunteers committees to join the competition from different parts of the northeast.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Yes, the college is definitely feasible as its fee structure is 45k in 6 months. Cash, as well as net banking, is acceptable though the check is not appreciated. Yes, there are some additional club fees but it's a very little amount so one can afford it easily. No, the college doesn't provide transparency in the fee-breakdown.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, the college offers scholarship. It's based on class 12 merit. If Ur percentage is above 80 percent then you get some discounts on the fee structure.

Campus Life

3.5

Campus life here is awesome. It has a football ground, tennis court, basketball court and a cricket field and they are all well organized and lighted. Sports week and winter fest are two major events organised and celebrated by the students here. And also the university organizes debates, Talent Search, and many other competitions related to soft skills.

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors here are very friendly. At first, they'll take you Intro and after they feel free and comfortable with you, they are very helpful and motivative. And it's a ragging free campus.

Admission

I opted for this course because I had a crazy curiosity related to how machines work and how to operate those. I opted for mech engineering in KU cuz it's d best private college in North East India in the state of Assam. In the admission process, you just have to show your JEE marks obtained followed by your 10th and 12th mark sheet and You have to sit for the counselling.

Faculty

3

Yes, the lecturers hold relevant industry certifications. Some of them are doctorates, IITians and some of them are double PhD holders. They are well aware of how to teach students and clarifying their doubts. They know how the theory should be related to practical life so that the students get a clearer idea on how to apply theory in real life.

Placement Experience:

The placements here are actually decent. The average package for my branch was around 13.5 LPA last year and branches like CSE, EC and EI have a higher average package generally. The campus is visited by almost all of the top companies including Google, Adobe, Facebook, etc. The detailed placement records are available on the website of the institute. The percentage of students getting placed ranges anywhere between 70 percent to 92 percent. I plan to get an M.Tech degree after completing my B.Tech course from an IIT if possible.
