Remarks

Attendance is a issue here as students are required to maintain 66.67% attendance every semester. This makes managing extra-curriculars a but difficult.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The curriculum here is the most diverse. With faculties from reputed institutions like FMS, IIMs and with a plethora of experience; learning is boundless here. The college culture is such that every student is pushed beyond his limits to take up several extra-curricular activities like internships, research projects, competitions both national and international.

Placement Experience

4

Companies like Bain, DE Shaw, KPMG, EY, DABUR, MERCER-METTLE, COLGATE-PALMOLIVE are among the regular recruiters of the college. The College has boasted 100% placement for several consecutive years. The placement for the internship season is relatively less. The college conducts regular sessions by industry experts, meets, sends learnings modules etc to prep the students for the placements.

College Events

5

The College has over 40 active societies. Out of which almost 40% have their own annual fests. In addition to this, there is the annual academic fest and the annual cultural fest hosted by the College itself. The College also conducts numerous guest lectures and speaker sessions. So much so that we have 2-3 sessions every week.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee is extremely affordable because the College offers world class facilities and a fully air conditioned campus with A grade infrastructure. The campus has smart boards, projectors, mics and speakers installed in every classroom. There is a lavish auditorium and multiple seminar halls for speaker sessions.

Fees and Financial Aid

The College offers a scholarship under the EWS quota. I haven't opted for it, but according to my knowledge it offers scholarships under three slabs 100%/50%/25% fee waiver. There are special books reserved for the EWS category in the library as well.

Campus Life

5

The campus Life is very inclusive. It is a campus which genuinely believes in the personality development of each and every individual. People see visible personality drifts after 3 years at SSCBS. This is due to the college's culture of inclusive studies. Encouraging co-curricular activities and sports.

Alumni/Alumna

The alums at SSCBS feel a bond towards the College which is extended to every new admit. Every SSCBS alum or senior would be more than willing to help you out in each and every domain in life.

Admission

The main reason for me opting this course was that it offered a precursor to MBA life. I was a humanities student(with maths) in school, so SSCBS was a chance to drift into the commerce domain. The SSCBS admission procedure comprises of an admission test, which has four main sections - Quantitative ability, Logical Reasoning, Verbal Ability and General Knowledge. The syllabus is vast but easy to do. I took up a coaching but self study is the main driver here.

Faculty

5

The faculty of the College is extremely helpful and we'll be qualified. We have teacher's from college's like FMS, IIMs and some with industry experience. All the professors are usually very experienced and friendly. They go the extra mile to help the students in all matters be it academic or non-academic.
