Remarks

Apart from education and infrastructure, placement no.s are really good. Canteen is really good. My overall college experience was really great at this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Its pretty standard. 2 midterm exams and a final term exam for all 8 semesters (YCCE is an autonomous college). 2 semesters per year. The curriculum is updated as per the modern needs of the society which is extremely important in this fast-changing world.

Placement Experience

3.5

The placement of the college is pretty good as compared to other colleges in Nagpur. Most of the students are hired by IT companies. But core companies also run their placement drives. Internship programs are well thought. For semester-long internship. For summer term internship you need to apply in a company yourself.

College Events

4.5

There are two events held each year. Ine in each semester. First, the departmental event During which each department held its own 3-4 days long events and programs. This allows a lot of students to take part in the organisation of these events. The event generally takes place during the month of August or September. The second event is the main event which lasts for about a week or more.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure:- every year the students have to pay the annual fees just after the summer holidays ends. The program fee for general category was 125000 and for obc category 75000 (during my last year in college).

Fees and Financial Aid

To avail scholarship or freeship, the college has a scholarship and freeship department. This department will guide you through the whole process. The staff in this department is very helpful.

Campus Life

4

College life is really good. There is no ragging policies implemented. Gender ration is about 35-40 percent girls 60-65 percent boys. Students from all over the India with various cultural background are in the college. The college has uniforms to neutralise any difference.

Alumni/Alumna

Bonding between the seniors and juniors really happens during the freshers parties and the college events. The alumni program is present on the website.

Admission

Through centralised admission process (CAP) round 1. Got this college in the first round of CAP admission process in my desired field. You are suppose to go to the college and fill up the addmission form once your choice of this college is approved bt the centralised admission process (cap) authorities.

Faculty

3.5

The teachers are extremely helpful. The electrical department consists of some old and very experienced teachers. Their subject knowledge is extremely good. Moreover they will help you understand the topic instead of completing it. The new teachers are good but some of them are not so good. The department HOD is extremely strict which helps shape the student in a written way.

7th semester or 4th year makes you eligible for internships and placements. NVIDIA visits our college often i don't know much about the placements as im only in first year but yes the eligibility for the placement is over CGPA which eliminates a lot of students during the placements nearly ~75% of the students get placed (including off and in campus) the other 20% pursue higher studies the other 5% go for start ups

Campus placement has good rate. Most of the students passing out get in-campus placements and some of them go abroad for higher education. The average package here is around 700000 to 800000. Very much reliable in placement perspective.
