Remarks

As negative the Mens hostel is not available for all because is not expanding. And the positive side is that there is a good social interaction between students and good politics. The academics is also best in Kerala

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

It is carried out by KTU and revised this year. We have 5 subjects in a semester. 1st semester we have Engineering Physics, Mathematics, Engineering mechanics, Basics of Civil and mechanical engineering and Life skills. The next semester we will have Engineering graphics , Engineering Chemistry ,Basics of electrical and electronics engineering also

Placement Experience

3.5

Placements are better compared to other colleges in Kerala but not as good as NITs. Companies like Royal enfield,MRF. come for recruitment and a ton of IT companies too. Internship cell started from last year as a freshie I am not aware of the overall stipends

College Events

5

Our college is known for its events every now and then there will be something going on. Although out flagships are the Three D's ,Disha , Dhristi , Dhwani Disha being the interdepartmental fest exclusive for freshies organized by the 2nd years is a great way to break the Ice and sprout the underlying talents and bring unity among peers. Dhristi being the Techfest. We have students from all over kerala participating for the tech fest of the first engineering college in Kerala. Dhwani, the Big D ,it is the cultural fest ,in March. You have to ask a CETian and see his eyes for knowing about Dhwani.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Very feasible it is run by the state government the fee is 8225/- for tution+ exam fee+living expenses only. Also there is no fee for SC and ST students. A lot of scholarships are provided even by the alumnis

Fees and Financial Aid

There is HOPE and GEM provided by the alumnis. And there is scholarship guidance cell to guide you through various scholarships you can avail. It is very active and supportive for financially backward students

Campus Life

4

We often are the champions in softball, handball, badminton and Table tennis. The Intercollege championship are hosted here for our large indoor stadium. And we have lot of sportsmen and athletes in the college

Hostel Facilities

4

Moderate rating. The college hostel is very cheap and good. Bit only limited seats are available there. Most of the boys have to look for other private hostels outside college. Since the Mens hostel takes in only 75 a year. But ladies hostel is large and wide

Alumni/Alumna

Excellent alumni network and seniors. They provide scholarship like HOPE ,GEM. They are very supportive they often come to the college for various purposes and they also share their various old experiences with us

Admission

I have got alloted her in the 3rd allotment process. So I brought TC from the other college and came here first we had to fill a form and wait in the hall for a long time since there was a lot of students my token number was 142 then I had to get my documents verified and to talk with the PTA board and then I had to pay the fees then apply for Hostel then atlast to meet the Principal and HOD

Faculty

4

Very skillful and helping minded faculty. Very supportive in extracurriculars also Mentorship is also provided as 3 mentors for a class. The lectures are followable. The faculty are often the ones who prepare questions for the University exam

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is the worst. Teachers rush through the portions so that they can finish at the earliest. It may be because the university has a unjustifiable timetable. There is very little practicals given. The ones that are given are just for namesake.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is under KTU syllubus do it's fine. There is a change in curriculum coming 2024 which i assume would make a lot of good changes. The curriculum gives you a head start For most of your work, you need to on your own but the faculty is there to help. The frequency of exams is weekly tests + monthly exams. Its not too difficult of an exam.

The students usually start appearing for campus placements in their 6th semester. The training for the campus placements is started for all the students from the 4th semester. Many companies visited for campus placements. But one main problem is that most of them were low packages. Around 4LPA. Some were between 4-6 and a very few between 6-10. Most of them got placed in our batch in some company.
