Overall the college is very good and it completely depend on how you see it. Teg only problem which I faced in the college that too during first semester is that the first year hostel is very far from my department building so if I missed the bus I had to walk all the way to the department which was really far. Other wise the college is extremely good and has a great infrastructure.

Since I am pursuing mechanical engineering the course structure is very to what people use to study about 5 to 6 years back but as the technolgy has advanced there are certain new subjects and laboratories which are added in our syllabus. The exam patter is simple. We have a total of 100 marks for each subjects out of which 50 are for internals and 50 for the end semester exams.

The placement is very good as always. To be honest companisles only go for the students hwo have some potential amd has done something other than studies in their 4 years of study. I have seen many of the students getting rejected even after scoring 9.5 CGPA and above and have also seen students with 7 CGPA getting 12LPA package. So it completely depends on what you do in college

One of the biggest event for our college is KIIT fest which is one of India's biggest college fests this year also the fest is going to be great as we have 3 star nights. Beside this we have KIITMUN which is yet another flagship event of our college.

The fees structure is a little expensive if you are comming from a middle class background because the semester fees goes up around 2lakhs including non ac hostels and for ac hostels it comes somewhere around 2.25 lakhs.

There is a scholarship facility which goes like if a student has scored 10 CGPA in the 1st sem so they can get a scholarship of if they have 100% attendance then they can get a scholarship. And there is alos a loan facility which could be availed during the counselling

There are about 10 sports complex in whole campus they even have a seperate sports complex for girls. There are various feilds and courts scattered in the whole college campus and even the conditions of the courts and feilds are very good. We even have a cricket ground completely operated by BCCI

There is a whole seperate soceity named Kconnect in which we maintain a proper connection with the alumni of the college. It is helful during placements and internships as it can be used as refference in offline apllications.

First there was a entrance examination post which a rank list was released as per which the counselling dates were decided. On the day of counselling they showed the number of seats available for all the branches of engineering and then they asked to fill a form, which was given on spot. After filling the form they called us rank wise and alloted a form of confirmation and an allotment letter.

Some of the faculty is very good and some are not so good. The experienced faculty has a very high standard and have a very good way of teaching but the new the newly joined ones cannot cope up that good with the class and students.
