Talk about College

Our college have to improve infrastructure like we don't have auditorium,we have a open air theatre but it is not full fill the absence of auditorium. College has also improve the quality of canteen and atleast there is a canteen Which is also open through night.

Our Course structure is creative as we don't only studies main directly related to computer science course but we have also an Rural internship in which we have to go any NGO in rural area,we live there and work at that place for 21 days. We also have humanity course like approaches to indian society, science technology and society. this Courses make us engineer in true meaning. Generally we have a 3 exam in a semester. But it depends on professor. Some professor may take only one or two exam and some also give us any project related to course instead of exam.

Yes our college provide internship call summer internship after 3rd year. For that interview process start after completion of 2nd year.as I am in currently 2nd year I don't have any experience about that. Placement of our college is good enough. Our placement higher than many IITs( except than top 5 IIT and NIT). Big company like AMAZON, FLIPKART, SPRINKLER come for placement drive in our college.

We have 3 big festival.1) I.fest - technical fest 2) Concourse - Sports fest 3) Synapse - Cultural fest Synapse is the biggest cultural fest of Gujrat , it is a heart of DA-IICT. Cultural Cummittee organise and celebrate many indian festival like Diwali, kite festival, Navratri etc.

Fees are moderate, neither too high nor low. Tution fee : 1.62 lacs per year Hostel fee : 50k (Everyone must have to live in hostel even for the locaite also) There are also some scholarship provided by our college and some by Gujarat government.

As I mentioned above our college prived scholarship named merit and merit cum mean scholarship. In merit scholarship top 5 students get back their fees and in merit cum mean scholarship top 5 student among those whose economic condition is not good enough get back their fees.

We have a organization which is running by the students and for the students called SBG (Student body government). There are 22 different clubs like Drama group,Dance club, Cubing club, programming club , developer club, radio club etc and 7 committee like annual fest committee, sports , academic, cultural, ICT committee etc. All extracurricular activities are the best and we'll organised by the students.

I don't like hostel infrastructure. We have all necessary fecility in our college but the condition of washroom is not too good. Other than this we have also a TV room. Our hostel is in the campus itself, so it is good for us we roam around the campus in midnight many times. I rate it 6 out of 10

In any college interaction with senior student is very necessary and luckily we have that but in this our college built new hostel in campus and it is allotted to all freshers. So in this I feel that there is some kind of lack in interaction with senior perticularly who are not in any clubs and committee. Alumni network is also good every year there are 2 or 3 seminars for that.

People can get admission here either from JEE(Joint Entrance Exam ) or from Gujrat board merit list. I have both options and chosen second one. Generally in Gujarat (India) our college is one of the best college for engineering so cutoff is high to get admission here. If you are above the cutoff the you have to fill form of JOSSA if you are taking admission through JEE otherwise you have to go through the process of acpc for getting admission through merit list.

Every faculty is master in their down and all are full of knowledgeable. But we can't understand some faculty as they don't have enough interaction with student. Some professor have knowledge but they can't deliver to student properly but many professors are excellent.
