Review of Chandigarh University

Overall my experience the college is very good with good teachers and excellent staff. My only problem is regarding the hostel food which is quite good. We get bored eating the same for every week and I agree that there are a lot of students but there must be something which they should do in this matter.

Course curriculum is quite good it follows the courses of the top engineering colleges like the IIT and some abroad colleges too. There are two mid semester test and one final external exam in each semester.

Placements are very good. As some top companies come during placements like google, microsoft,amazon etc. And there are many MNCs, startup and various product and service based companies too. Even other branches than cse also have good placements statistics.

There are event going all around the year from freshers to various musical and dance events, fashion shows, various celebrities also come for movie promotions here. So if you are very much into events and all you will be very happy.

Fees structure is feasible not too expensive nor to low. It depends on your course how much fees will be there it is less than the other private colleges quite less also the hostel fees is also very less.

There various scholarships available. Sports, ward of defence personnel and varoius based on your merit and your performance in the semester. Education loan is also easily available I have taken education loan for studying and was a very easy process.

Various sports and activities are regularly organised in the campus and if you bring national or any medal apart from scholarships you will be extempted from hostel fees. Labs are also well equipped and are well structured.

Hostel facilities are very good and up to mark. Hostel will be your favourite place when you want some rest, newly build hostels, spacious room and you are provided with a seperate bed, an almarah, and a study table.

Senior are also very helpful. There is no ragging activities in the university. They are always busy with their own schedule but if you want help they will be there for you. You can ask help in any matter regarding course or placement process or any hostel problems they will surely help you.

I contacted the admission cell using the number provided and asked about the course. The course which i choose has limited seats as it is IBM integrated course. So i registered early and got my seat reserved.

Faculty is also quite good they have knowledge about their subjects and help the students in every aspect. They have good practical knowledge too which help the students in understanding the subject. They are very helpful as they are ready to help students in all the matters whether course related or any other matter.
