Remarks

College has a very good atmosphere for education. It's a honour for us to study here. There is only a negative remark that is , our department of second language is on the other side of the road.

Course Curriculum Overview

Bsc.Mathematics is a very interesting subject and offers large number of job opportunities. The exam are in semester system. Exams questions are maybe average. Every exam halls consists 2 or more invigilators.

Placement Experience

Placements are done by public service commission. Temporary placements can be done by the college head. There are total 18 subjects. College provides internship opportunities. The total opinion about college is convincing. Many stipends are offered for students.

College Events

College celebrates freshers day , where the relationship between seniors and juniors are bonded. Arts day which offers a great opportunity for talented students. Our college has our own music band, Annual day, Onam festival , depawali. All festivals are allowed there. Also the events are inaugurated by celebrities.

Fee Structure And Facilities

College is government affiliated , so it is not expensive. Fees is very low , also affordable by below average families. There is a fee for exam registration and it is negligible one. There are no extra fee consumption. Since it is a govt. College, it is friendly to all students.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is a educational loan. Loan period is till we gets job. The scholarships are many. Postmetric scholarship , state merit scholarship , jubilee scholarship etc. are some of them. Some professors also gives scholarships.

Campus Life

College has two NSS units. Army NCC and Navy NCC are active. Nss volunteers does their service activities in broad ways. Our college sports team got the championship for wait lifting.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students are so friendly. They also participate us in the college programs. There is a department committee where our problems are discussed.

Admission

Applied via online single window site. Then entered my college preference list. According to the merit list I got allotted to university college. Payed the registration fee by online and then admitted.

Our college got 18th position in India given by NAAC (listing of government colleges) and our college is first in the list in district of Kerala. College has a good atmosphere. College is around 100 years old. The faculties are better than any other colleges Kerala. We also have gallery classes.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is almost best. Curriculum doesn't influenced me in deciding this course. Curriculum should add internships. Currently there is no mandatory internship, if students are interested they can do internship during vacations. As we are learning psychology which need to be practiced in real world settings, curriculum must include real world training to help students understand things more effectively. Currently intervel between exams are non existent. Internal exams, then semester exams, you blink once, next internal exams, followed by semester exams. Syllabus is understandable, can learn if you try. Exams are also manageable. Real world examples and stories can be included in teaching methods, as psychology is related to humans and human interaction, to get better grasp of concepts. Rather than focusing on passing exam, should focus on the concepts and understand them in-depth. There are a lot of theories to study by heart. And there are many repetitive topics that overlap, but in different semesters.

My course is Bsc Biotechnology. It is a research associated course. Its main scope is in research. But in every industry let it be medical or industrial a biotechnologist is required. I chose this course to help others.social service was the main motive. I'm now persuing post graduation because i got best classes from best teachers.
