Hpnlu a decent NLU

Our college has an amalgation of various positive and negative aspects the positive aspect is that the faculty members are above average and the seniors are very helpful. The negetive aspect is that this university does not have its own hostel infrastructure.

The course curriculum followed here is rather good. Here we have option to choose between BA LLB and BBA LLB. Here students can also pursue LLM course.The exam structure is basically that we have two semesters in a year and every semester has a mid semester exam.

This university was incarnated in 2016 and therefore there has not been a single batch that has passed out yet. The first batch will complete the intigrated course in 2021. And it is expected that they will get great placement as our university has been working very hard to provide us with various workshops and guest lectures from various judges of supreme court. The university has its own internship and placement cell which help students to intern.

This is my first year at the university but there have been a few number of events celebrated here as we celebrated dandia night in October which was great.fresher is supposed to be organised in November and it is expected to be very well organised.

The fee structure is kind of expensive considering various other NLUs it has a annual fee of rupees 2,53,500 including tution fees ,hostel fees mess fees, sports fee and all other fees.It is expensive according to me and it may change from person to person.

Our university has ties with national scholarship portal and provides scholarship to the students who qualify the criteria and the university also has ties with state government which provide scholarship to students of their state studying here.

There are quite few number of extra curricular activities organised in our campus.we have every possible indoor game available but due the rocky terrain our university does not have our own cricket or football ground.

Currently the university does not have its own hostel infrastructure but it has private contractors that have rented hostels to the university and that satisfactory as far as I am concerned.there is wifi facility in the hostel.

As not a single batch have passed out yet therefore there is no alumni network.But the good thing that the seniors in our university are very humble and cooperative. They help us with our work, provide us with notes guides us in moots and various fields.

The admission process for NLUs are simple all we have to do is get a good rank in CLAT exams.i also appeared for CLAT and I my rank was 2983 therefore I was not selected in the first three rounds of selection but I was selected in 2nd vacant list and therefore I got admission here.

Most of the faculty here are good.They are very qualified , almost everyone has a doctorate degree in there respective field.law faculty here is fairly good and the faculty for BA subjects have above average and the sociology professor is exceptionally good.
