The only negative remark is of some political students who disrupt the studying atmosphere of the university but overall the situation is under control. A student must stay away from the likes of these people if he/she is into studies and chose his/her friends wisely

The exams are conducted once annually with the practicals if available of all the 3 subjects allotted to you. The total marks for the three subjects including the practical is 450. If u have chosen a subject which has a practical the practical exam us conducted which carries 50 marks the rest theory marks is 100. So 150 for 1 subject and thus 450 for 3 subjects.

As of B.Sc, you don't get placements anywhere but you can expect to crack any competitive exam after doing your graduation. You can opt for an M.Sc degree or u can join a coaching institute to crack any civil service exam or any other competitive exam.

Every year as of the Bio department we celebrate 2 events the fresher cum farewell and a college organized by the students itself. A grand event of Dipoutsav is celebrated on the occasion of Diwali where the faculty is lit by Diyas. The trip is organized for a short trip to a place near Allahabad which is for entertainment.

The fees as it is a central university is very cheap it is close to Rs1500. for a year. And I think that's pretty feasible for any student the fees for reserved category student is even cheaper with the number of scholarship for the needy students.

I have not availed any kind of scholarship but the state government provides scholarships to needy students moreover there are scholarships for needy students who are good in their studies and have secured more than 60 percent in college examinations.

The labs are well equipped and since it is a central university you have access to the large college grounds. U have seperate cricket ground, Football ground , Hockey ground, a basketball court, A volleyball court with other and these grounds are maintained by the university itself.

I have opted for a hostel The Hindu hostel the annual fee is 13500 for the room/stay and u have to pay for the flooding in the hostel mess which is 2100 per month for the current session. The rooms are big and can easily accommodate 2 students with plenty of play area there are other hostels as well.

The college has produced many eminent scholars and statesmen we have 1 President of India and 2 vice presidents 2 former Prime Minister of India. 4 Chief justice of the Supreme court of India and many bureaucrats and freedom fighters as alumni of this great institution.

Gave the UGAT for B.Sc bio secured over 55 percent in the entrance exam. Was called for counseling on the day as mentioned on the site of the college got the seat allotted as per my marks. Submitted the required documents and got into the 3-year course.

The classes of the science department are regular and the faculty is top-notch you get good teachers and a good learning environment. Practicals are conducted regularly and one needs to complete his/her practical records on time. There is no foundation or criteria for attendance.
