Remarks :

From every aspect Cochin University is a place that students must study.It provides such a big opportunity so that you can develop every aspect of your life.It is a place where we learn to realise ourselves.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Each semester consists of 4 modules with 2 internal exams.There are 8 semesters all together and course gets completed in 4 years.Every 6 months there will be semester examinations and candidate who gets at least 10 credits will be promoted to next semester.

Placement Experience :

Cusat has more placements than any other university in Kerala.It is one of the top in case of placements.It also provide internship opportunity to students to places like IIT Bombay.It is actually a must study place.

College Events :

Cusat is famous for its celebrations.This year a new celebration was included.It was a DJ night party at Halloween.The tech fest of cusat DHISHNA is famous all over India and is renowned for its inventions.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

It has two fees structures. For state merit students it is 25000 Per semester and for all India merit students it is 44000 per semester.The university also provide financial aid to students whose annual income is low.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Caste based scholarships are available to students who belong to various castes and the qualified students will get financial aid for studies in the university.There are no loan facilities available in the university.

Campus Life :

The labs are well maintained and opened till 8pm in the evening.Students can approach the lab assistant and do their work in the lab at any time they want.All sorts of sports activities are available in the campus.

Alumni/Alumna :

The college has a huge number of members in the alumni.It has a good reach on every aspect of the university and is very helpful for students.Senior students are corporative and helps us develop new ideas.

Admission :

I wrote the entrance exam CAT and got descent rank in it.It is the exam conducted by Cochin University for admission to various courses.It is a well established university and certificate value is also high.

Faculty :

It is a very nice college.Good atmosphere and experienced faculty.Campus has a very wide area and is very established university.Every facilities are available in the campus.It has very big library for reference.

Placement Experience:

Students can avail placenta from the 7th semester where a lot of companies are available. I don't know about the highest package but all of them are pretty decent. Most of the packages are IT and sales.

Actually placement cell is a bit week the company's is not that reputed and they offer monthly salary of 12k to 15k. Probably some startup companies. And many students choose that and work for 1 or 2 years to gain experience and then they apply for better opportunities.

Placement for Students are provided on the final semester that is the 8th semester. Placement for mechanical engineering fluctuates based on the outside industry depending on the market. SEEING STCET THROUGH MY VISION

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year onwards we could attend placement interviews and many companies used to approach our college but mostly IT companies as I was in civil dept the construction companies were very less or NIL. In our batch, most of the students got placed and many offer letters but the only disadvantage was the offers were not from the core companies.
