Remarks
University should maintain it's image for which it was known for. Also , lack of faculty was one of the problems we have faced. And disturbance to hostelers was a big issue. Canteen facility is still very poor in condition.
Course Curriculum Overview
In my days , exam was Multiple choice type, I think now also it is same. Entrance exam was based on the knowledge of 10+2. Also language paper was compulsory. Negative marking was also there, i think it was 1/3
Placement Experience
Well internship is not available in all the courses. Some courses like computer science, food faculty, computer management, computer application have the opportunity to provide internships for the students.
College Events
Fresher cum farewell function , celebrated by each department. Convocation day for degree holders (I think it si discontinued now) Seminars in Departments like Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics Cricket matches between hostels.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is very feasible for the traditional courses like B.sc, BA. And LLB. Different fee structure for professional course like BCA, FOOD Managment, BBA etc. But overall I can say, structure is feasible.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes, there is such facility. One is scholarship and another is reimbursement of the fee. If one is eligible for this facility he should apply for the same. By the end of the year he/she will get the scholarship along with fee.
Campus Life
Extracurricular activities are available nowadays. Labs are fully equipped. 2 days in lab weekly. For sports there is separate department. Drama, music , painting is also available. Fine arts is also in AU
Hostel Facilities
No, I didn't get the hostel and latter I also not opted for the hostel. But there are so many hostels. A N JHA, G N JHA, are the sonlme hostel which provide good study environment. International Home for foreign students.
Alumni/Alumna
In my days , such type of network was not available. We were fully depend on our seniors. Also , we have to do intro before the seniors. In the hostels situation was way more worse. But now , situations are not like that.
Admission
In 2009 , when I just passed my 10+2 exam, I filled the entrance form for graduation from AU. Nowadays one can fill the form online. After filling the form and paying the fee I appeared the entrance test , which was objective in nature. I cleared the exam and based in merit list I got the admission.
Faculty
The faculty of the university is great. They are very helpful also. Most of them are retired now. Ex Mr Matambar Tiwari, Mr. Jagadamba prasad, Mr K K Azad, etc. But faculty like mrs. Mona Khare, Mr. Satya Dev and Mr SS sharma are still there.
