Remarks

College is very strict. For every issue they call the parents and irritate them. Missing real campus life in here. While compared with other self financing colleges it ok here. Mechanical department teachers are great.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Curriculum is so poor according to the university. Nowadays the entire engineering colleges in Kerala is under Kerala technological university (KTU). They made this university by building a strict curriculum. But due to their irresponsibilities the entire structure failed.

Placement Experience

0.5

This college offers a 100 percent placement. But it's a fake promise. May be a 10 percent from a class got placed in a better manner in companies like infosis TCS and all. No one recieved Mechanical core related jobs.

College Events

3

Tech fest, arts and sports are the events those which are conducted by the college. Those events are done very well by the participation of the students. College doesn't provide much money for conducting these programs even though they collect huge money from the students as fees.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure for those with below 10k rank in KEEM will be able to study free of cost. Others have to pay 75k in every year. Which is much expensive. Most of the minor cast like OBC need to pay only 50k in other college. But this college list is not included in that. So we have to pay 75k.

Fees and Financial Aid

Management scholarship is provided. But if the student get any arrear the scholarship is cancelled and have to pay the full amount. The scholarship amount provided is 25000. Other merit scholarship are available for students with a good keam rank which is provided by the government so go for that.

Campus Life

4.5

Labs are good with better availability of equipments. Also have a good library and central computer center for gaining good knowledge. The college have better play ground and all. Also they promote sports too.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

Monthly, including food and accommodation it costs more than 5000rs. Which is much expensive. Facilities are good but not upto mark. Here the time table in hostel is strict. Can't go out after 7pm. And after 9 pm phone is not allowed. And used fine of 500 is collected

Alumni/Alumna

I got passed out in this year. And I heard that college is having a good alumini network. May be in coming years i will get help from the allumini. So a better allumini system helps in getting a better opportunity in future.

Admission

I got admission in this college by writing Kerala engineering entrance exam. In order to get admission in government college a great score is required. But it is easy to get an admission in a self financing college with a lower score. With the help of reservations and all we can get admission easily, but the fees structure in self financing college is huge. So it's better to get admission in a government college. With an OBC reservation I got seat, even though my entrance rank is above 30k.

Faculty

4.5

Faculties are good with a better experience in teaching. Most of the good faculties nowadays resigned due to management of the college cut their salaries. So nowadays good and experienced teachers are not present except few.

As seniors said the average package is around 10lpa.If you have descent skills and above 8 cgpa you will get this average package. If you upskill yourself with effort which many students do here then you can also get above 15lpa which many seniors got.The highest package was off-campus by an ECE Student in Google despite having cgpa around 6.He had very good skills as a full stack developer.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.
