Remarks

The management and teaching staff is not good at all. They always look how to penalise a student. Most of the students were fed off paying fines. I would suggest to think twice before taking an admission. I was a good student but i would not like upcoming

Entrance Preview

I had appeared in AIEEE however the college mostly takes direct admissions only.

Internships Opportunities

To be honest no company visited for trainings or placements. The students had to themselves search for any option. I had to work hard to work as an intern in power grid corporation of india. There was no stipend for the said training.

Placement Experience

1

As already discussed no placements were done in 2014 session. The only students who got placed were absorbed by the college itself and work as clerical staff. I would call them fool who work as clerk after having done engineering.

College Events

3

The festivals are celebrated with great enthusiasm.

Fees and Financial Aid

Loan facility is available and scholarships are also available. However you need to work and secure good percentage as the scholarship might be cancelled if you have a backlog.

Campus Life

1.5

All activities are done during festivals. There are no prior labs and no proper staff in labs. This is a co ed college. No political or economic influence is not seen anywhere.

Hostel Facilities

1.5

The hostels previously were good and with the time the quality degraded. the building is now taken over by pnb and there is a temporary set up. I would suggest to take a flat and not a p.g as health matters when you stay away from home or you can take hos

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students are a great support.

Faculty

1.5

The curriculum is just similar to all other universities however the faculty is not so knowledgeable and most of them have just passed out. Also the faculty and management is not coopeartive at all.

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

Placement Experience:

NITJ has a placement cell, also known as the Centre of Training and Placements(TPO office of NITJ). The placement scenes differ depending on the courses offered. The average placements are 12-14LPA in the Computer Science branch. Every year, hundreds of companies, including Pvt and govt both. PSUs like HPCL and BPCL recruit students based on merit and academic excellence.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
